Iris Red. I was smothered in it, tangled under its heaping mass. It twined in layers around my limbs, my neck, knotted tight and biting in my skin. My pack was collapsing before me, bodies adorning the red weave and thickening its cords. And there, too, was the Tyrant King– a devil decorated in the heavy red. He grasped the dripping coils, weighted by the dead…and pulled. Closer and closer he dragged me. I scrambled fruitlessly against the bindings, feet kicking and hands yanking at the knots. Until finally, he was upon me, teeth dripping and open. I tore at the red, until I finally broke through. But when I looked up, the Tyrant King was still there, upon me, reaching to grab, to take– I jolted back with a scream. “--stay away! My family– my brothers–” The devil looming over me
