She found herself in an beautiful room. The doors were made of gleaming,
polished wood, shining softly as if they had been crafted with great care. The walls were adorned
with exquisite engravings of colorful peacocks, so intricate and precious that she had never seen
anything like them before in her entire life.
To her left was a stunning kitchen, one that seemed to hold everything imaginable. The
utensils placed there sparkled like diamonds, so radiant that even without light, their glow alone
could illuminate the entire room.
She was sitting on a sofa so comfortable that she had no desire to get up from it. The space
was vast and magnificent, and beside it was a kitchen and another room, both equally grand.
Such a magnificent house... whose is it?
How did I come here?
Why can't I remember anything?
The questions echoed in her mind, but no answers followed; only a growing sense of
mystery wrapped around her heart.
Countless questions began to whirl through her mind all at once. I wasn't alone... I was in
the jungle. We were running. And then those people. The memory struck her like lightning. I
remember now. I remember everything. She narrated the entire incident to herself in fragments
of breathless thoughts.
But where is he?
She rose from the sofa where she had been sitting and slowly looked around. Confusion
tightened around her chest. Whose house could this be? It's so beautiful... and how did I end up
here?
Lost in thought, she moved toward the kitchen, but the moment she stepped inside, her feet
froze to the floor. It was breathtaking. The beauty of the place pulled her in against her will.
Modern appliances gleamed everywhere. There are so many advanced things here... even the
fridge is enormous, she murmured to herself, staring at it in disbelief.
Should I check if there's anything inside? She whispered, more to distract herself than out of
curiosity. She walked closer and tried to open it.
Why isn't it open? She paused. Wait... there's a screen on it. Her eyes fell on the glowing red text displayed
across it:
"You need a thumb to unlock this fridge."
Her heart skipped a beat. What does this mean? Someone definitely lives here.
The moment she read those words; her heartbeat began to race uncontrollably. Slowly,
painfully, understanding crept into her mind. What if those people caught me... and locked me
up here?
Panic seized her. No... no! She cried out loud, then instantly clamped a hand over her
mouth, as if afraid someone might hear her. Tears streamed down her face as she broke into
silent sobs.
What will happen now? Where is he? Is he safe?
Her body trembled as the realization finally settled in. I'm trapped. Yes... This is exactly
what happened.
She thought this to herself, pressing her hand over her mouth, trying to control her tears and
emotions. There has to be a door to get out of here. I will leave this place, the thought suddenly
flashed through her mind.
She was startled by her own realization. Wiping away her tears, she began searching for a
door, scanning every corner of the room.
Suddenly, her eyes fell on a different wall. It wasn't like the others; its color was darker and
heavier. Is this a door? She whispered, a faint smile touching her lips for the first time.
Her heartbeat has slowed now. She was beginning to regain her senses. Without wasting
another moment, she moved quickly toward it.
The sound of her footsteps vibrated across the floor, echoing through the entire house, an
echo she could clearly feel with every step. She didn't stop herself this time.
She went straight up to the door.
She placed her hand on the door and slowly ran her fingers over it, almost as if trying to feel
its intentions.
"Why is there no lock here?" She murmured.
The absence of a lock only made her more anxious. It felt as though one of her last hopes
had quietly shattered. Then a thought struck her suddenly. Wait... there are such advanced appliances in this
house. Maybe this door also opens with some kind of lock.
"Oh no..." her heart began to race. I don't know what they might do to me. I should never
have come here. I don't even know him. Who knows what kind of person he really is? Decent
people don't have enemies like this... do they?
Her mind forced her into a storm of frightening thoughts, each one darker than the last,
refusing to let her find even a moment of peace.
At that moment, she felt completely helpless. Accepting her defeat, she leaned against the
door for support. She was exhausted, tired of life and all its pains. Her despair had grown so deep
that even this house began to feel like a sign of her death.
"I forgive myself," she whispered. "I don't know why I trusted him."
"Maybe they have already killed him," she murmured to herself. "And now... perhaps it's
my turn."
Saying this, she rested her head against the door and sat down beside it, facing it, letting her
mind drift toward the few good moments she had once lived.
Suddenly, a sound coming from the room in front of her struck her heart like a blow,
sending a chill through her entire body.
She froze. Her heart began to pound violently against her chest. When she slowly turned
back to look, fear wrapped around her even tighter. The room that had been closed earlier was
now wide open.
"How did this door open?" She whispered, trying to stand so she could look more closely,
but her legs betrayed her. They trembled uncontrollably beneath her.
Who could be there?
Step by step, she forced herself to move toward the door. The room was clearly visible from
where she stood, yet she didn't dare to look inside. Terror had completely taken over her body.
I've reached the door... what if someone is standing inside, waiting to kill me? She thought.
Pressing herself against the wall outside the room, she stood still, barely breathing. Should I
look at it or not? She wondered. But I have to; otherwise, I'll die of fear right here.
Gathering what little courage she had left, she leaned her head into the room.
"There's no one here," she thought with a shaky breath. Or maybe whoever is hiding
somewhere else. The moment she turned back to check
He was standing right in front of her.
Her gaze fell first on his shoes.
"Oh no... today is my last day."
That thought alone was enough.
Her senses slipped away, fear completely overpowering her, and she collapsed to the
ground.
It was an incredibly gentle hand, so calming that nothing in the world had ever given her as
much peace as the touch of his hand gently stroking her head.
"I'm fine now... but why didn't you tell me earlier?" She said softly. "I was so scared."
Lying there, that strange comfort began to feel overwhelming. She grew restless on the bed
and slowly sat up. He was sitting right next to her.
"I know your heart is full of questions," he said calmly. "Give yourself a little time. You'll
get answers to every one of them."
Saying this, he stood up from his place and started to walk toward the door.
"Wait," she called out from behind.
He stopped right where he was.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"I went to make food for you," he said, and walked out of the room.
She remained standing there, her mind racing. Such a magnificent house... how could it
belong to him? Where is this place? There isn't even a single window.
Thoughts clashed inside her head. Everything felt blurred. She was restless and desperate for
answers. She wanted to know who he really was.
She stood up and stepped out of the room. When she came face-to-face with him, she
stopped and stared at him with suspicion.
He knew her eyes were fixed on him, yet he pretended not to notice and stayed busy with his
work.
"Who are you?" She asked bluntly.
"You were standing behind me, and I didn't even realize," he replied, acting innocently.
"Don't change the topic. Who are you and where are we?" She demanded.
"Fine. We're in the jungle," he said calmly."What?" She exclaimed in shock. She stepped into the kitchen and stood right in front of
him, staring. After a brief silence, she laughed.
"Have you gone mad? I know you're funny, but this is too much."
"Yes," he laughed softly.
He stopped what he was doing, took one of her hands, pulled her gently toward himself, and
with his other hand wrapped an arm around her waist, drawing her closer.
Being held so close made her nervous. Her eyes dropped shyly, and the feel of his hand on
her waist made her heartbeat race. He leaned so close that only a breath separated his face from
her mask.
Locking his eyes with hers, he said quietly, "I don't lie to myself."
Startled by her own nervousness, she removed his hand from her waist and stepped back. He
continued to look at her, and something about the way he stared made her uneasy.
Without saying another word, she turned back to where she had come from, went inside the
room, and shut the door behind her.
She didn't know why, but anger was rising inside her, sharp and uncontrollable. In her
frustration, she slammed her hand against the door.
"Ah!" She cried out, clutching her hand after hitting the door.
She didn't understand why he wasn't telling her anything. She knew there was some secret
he was hiding from her, and she silently vowed that she would uncover it, no matter what.
Fueled by anger, she stormed into the bed and sat down heavily. The restlessness inside her
only grew stronger with every passing second. Her thoughts and her anger fed each other,
spiraling out of control.
What if trusting him is a mistake? She asked herself.
What if he betrays me?
"No... no," she argued inwardly. "How could he ever betray me?"
Her heart answered softly from somewhere deep inside
His eyes look too innocent for that.
Forget it, she told herself bitterly. These days, anyone can betray anyone at any moment.
A war was raging inside her between trust and fear, hope and doubt.
Unable to sit still, she rose from the bed once again. Restlessness consumed her as she began
pacing back and forth across the room; her thoughts spiraling uncontrollably.Suddenly, from behind her, she heard someone opening her room's door.
She froze.
Startled, she gasped, her heart jolting violently in her chest.
