Envy
Zinnia was kinda hot, not gonna lie. I’m surprised that Aaron put her with me, considering how upset he was about me messing with Denise. I wasn’t complaining though. There was one problem however.. Chad was watching me like a damn hawk. As soon as he caught wind of the two newly awoken crewmates being girls, he was right up my ass. Maybe that was partially my fault, but it was such a killjoy.
I ended up talking to him towards dinnertime because I was getting fed up.
“Chad, what the f**k man? Do you gotta follow me around everywhere?” I spun around in one of the halls, nearly making Chad bump into me with how close he was.
“I’m not letting you harass anyone. That’s all I’m doing.” Chad grumbled, visibly seething. If looks could kill…
“It’s not like I’m hurting anyone! Besides, if you hurt me, I’m only gonna end up with Amber, aren’t I~?” I added, trying to see how far I could push him. His lip twitched in irritation.
Within a second I was held up by my vest against the wall, nearly hitting my head on the ceiling.
“I know what you pulled with Denise. You’re f*****g disgusting. A threat to the ship. I swear-” His voice was low and I could feel his hand pushing hard against my chest as I struggled in his grasp. “If you f*****g touch anyone without permission again- I’m gonna rip out your goddamn spine and shove it so far down your throat that it comes out your ass, and then proceed to saw you in half with it.”
With that, he dropped me to the ground and the wind got knocked out of me. He watched me struggle to find my breath before giving me a kick in the side that forced me to breathe again.
He left me in that hallway, and I laid there on the floor for a while. I guess I sort of deserved that.. I eventually sat up, coughing as I held my chest. A searing pain shot through me with every breath. I gathered myself, trying to pull back together as I got up and stumbled into the wall. How pitiful I must look-

Zinnia and Sora came walking down the hallway where Envy had been ‘told’ off. They found him leaning against a wall and clutching at his side.
“There you are- oh, honey- what happened?” Zinnia rushed to his side, abandoning whatever conversation she was having with Sora. She offered to help stabilize Envy, who gratefully wrapped an arm around her shoulders and leaned on her just to ease his own load.
“What’d you do this time?” Questioned Sora, who didn’t look particularly perturbed by the situation.
“Eugh.. Just a ‘friendly’ reminder from Chad.” Envy stated sarcastically.
“Chad’s not very friendly, huh?” Zinnia pressed, trying to understand the dynamics of the situation and relationships between others. Sora shook her head.
“No, he’s really sweet, actually. Envy just comes off as misogynistic and that sets Chad off into a blind rage.
“Is that so..?” Zinnia said slowly, glancing at Envy, who gave a guilty shrug. “Uh-huh.. Don’t act like a piece of s**t, maybe?” She pursed her lips, and Envy rolled his eyes.
“I’ll think about it, so believe me when I say ‘I’ll keep that in mind.’” He grumbled.
Sora completely disregarded the situation at hand, seeming to want to move on already.
“Anyways, dinner was called. Do you want us to drop you off at the med center?” She was looking at her nails in disinterest.
“Nah.. I think I’ll be alright. Besides, I’m sure I’ll die if I go near Amber for a while after something I said..” Envy admitted, eventually gaining enough composure to stand on his own as he leaned off of Zinnia.
“Thank you..” He mumbled as Sora just left them- presumably to go to the mess hall.
“It’s nothing honey-bun. Want me to take you to our room, and I’ll go grab dinner? I’m sure you don’t wanna see any unfriendly faces.” Zinnia smiled and Envy nodded a bit.
“That’d be nice.”
“Alrighty. In return, I do expect a lot of tea to be spilt on your end.” She winked, giggling as Envy groaned before heading on their merry way.
