“JUST CHECKING UP to see if you’re still alive.” Lyn let her imagination run riot as to Jamie’s possible appearance on the morning after the night before.
“What a party, eh? Did you see Caroline’s new bird? I saw you dancing with her at one point. I could definitely go for that one.” A large yawn emanated from Jamie’s mobile phone.
“You’d need to go back to your original gender then; she likes the girls I’m afraid.”

“Not a peep out of him all night. He’s still asleep in my spare room.”
“What! Did you lock your bedroom door?”
“Don’t have any locks. He’s harmless; I told you before. It was late; he’d left his car at mine, but I think someone must have given him doubles instead of singles. There was no way he was driving home.”
