CHAPTER 39 “JAMIE, IF YOU and Sara start over on that wall; I’ll do this one, and Peter, perhaps you can start in the kitchen?” “Aye aye, Cap’n.” Peter saluted as he picked up a paintbrush. With the end of the cold weather in sight, Lyn’s spirits had lifted with the arrival of Spring. She hummed as she opened one of the tins of magnolia paint that had been sitting unused in her hallway for months. The café would be open for business within a few weeks, and her days would soon be full again.
