I became shocked as soon as I saw his face.

My heart stopped as I looked at him in horror. His face was completely bruised up. He was looking nearly dead with a black eye, busted lips, and long deep cut marks on his cheeks. They were bleeding heavily and his face was all b****y and damaged.
Tears started streaming down my eyes as he was barely breathing and was looking like a corpse. I yanked my hands away from Noah and ran to him.
