Chapter Thirteen

I stood there watching how he behaved with his employees, then he sighted me. He immediately left them and came to me," sorry, when did you arrive. Has it been long?". He said feeling guilty, I told him I arrived not too long ago so it's fine. His employees stood there watching, even his office secretary, he then suggested we go to his office since he is done with his meeting.

His office was really lovely, to the extent I started comparing it to mine. I waited till he finished his paperwork then he suggested we both go out, to relieve stress and have fun. I gladly accepted because I needed some fresh air from his boring office.

Hardly did anyone come in to greet him or tell him anything unlike mine, we arrived downstairs and obviously the secretaries and receptionists at the entrance started staring.

I just walked at the same pace as him to avoid their stares, I was glad he didn't hold my hands. He respected my boundaries a lot and that's comforting.

We arrived at a fancy restaurant, had lunch and started discussing about our lives. I didn't want to go home yet because Eddy planned on coming late and I don't want to be home alone, so I suggested we go to the park.

Our time at the park was quiet, we didn't have much to say so we just enjoyed the view and cool breeze. I got home and Eddy was already waiting for me, immediately I saw him I jumped at him and hugged him. I missed him a lot because he was gone for months.

When I was done making him know how much I missed him, I noticed he wasn't too happy. " Eddy what's wrong?' He let out a sigh and faced his head down.
