Ace The silence in the cell pressed down on me like a living thing. I felt like my spirit was crushed down into nothing. Every breath rattled my bones. My wrists throbbed. The silver chains bit deeper with every twitch for my hands. I had tried so hard to break them. These chains, but I couldn't.
