Jasper takes a step closer, blocking my path again, immediately putting me on edge. His hand reaches out, fingers grazing my arm lightly, sending an uncomfortable chill through my body. I glare at him, my irritation barely masked.
"Hey, hold on... at least let us convince you, huh? We're throwing one every Friday. You know, with all the stress our generation is under, we need to blow off steam sometimes. You get that, right?" His tone is low as he looks down at me, his proximity making it harder to breathe evenly.
"I get it, but sorry, I won't be able to—" I start, making yet another attempt to step around him, but Jasper shifts again, blocking my path as if this was some kind of game.
