Three days had passed since the morning Ruger pulled Krissi from the building where the Devils held and beat her. It had not been an easy three days. As much as he would have liked to spend every moment with her, watching over her and making sure she was taken care of, he had things he had to do. Some of what kept him away from her was dealing with the Devils and the women that the Souls had taken from them that had kicked this whole thing off. He also had to maintain his usual presence at Drifters as well as work the shifts for the bartender he was still short.
