Deanna went back to her place, her mind spinning with things she needed to get done tonight, so she was ready to go in again the next morning. In reality, she’d do one or two things, like start laundry, move it to the dryer an hour later…maybe hang it up when it was done, but that was probably all. Most of her around the house chores waited till she had a day off. She let herself into her apartment, set her purse on the table next to the door and wondered where Sophie was. “Here kitty, kitty.
