Kendall rushed through the dark corridor of rooms. With the way Lena had sat quietly and watched nothing in particular throughout dinner, he could tell something was wrong with her. He could sense she was worried.
When she excused herself from the dinning table without saying a word to anybody, or touching her food, Kendall was certain that all was not well.
He was worried about her. Here and now, she was his responsibility, he was going to anything to make sure that she was happy. After what Zyk and the evil woman she spoke about had did to her, Lena had gone through so much already. Including, almost losing her life to the bandits of the outskirts.
