  THE OUTSKIRTS He stood and watched as everything was reduced to flames. As the fire sparkled in his eyes, so did the thirst and urge for revenge.  The soldiers had rounded people up from neighboring houses and neighboring shops of the village. The shifters had returned unsuccessful, despite having combed majority of the outskirts.  Someone was playing with him. Someone who knew he was here was toying with his mind on purpose.  "They are here in the outskirts, if you want them, you can come and get them..." His jaw tightened as he remembered the contents of the letter that had been sent to him.  From the fireplace where Mint stood, adoring the heap of burnt goods and stores that had previously been open, he peeped from the corner of his eyes and saw Zyk and some soldiers questioning
