Victor finally received Evelyn's call.

There was a hint of regret in her tone, as if she hadn't entirely given up on keeping Victor under her control. However, since things had reached this point, she could only see this favour through to the end.
Not long after Victor had hung up, Claire called as well.
She said that she had kept a low profile these past two days and had spotted no suspicious individuals or received any inquiries about Miles.
