One erratic heartbeat. Another. The wind picked. Their senses heightened - and searched. Their scents filled them till there was nothing left. “Why -?” She began, back to him, but her voice failed her. She cleared her throat after a pause. “Why - What but bugs you here, Flint?” “Two things,” he said. “in multiples.” His breathe tickled where it met her flesh. She needn’t look for he filled her senses - and line of vision. “First things first,” he continued, starring deep into her startled eyes. “I came to claim what is mine.” Impulsively, she took a step back. Her breathed hitched high up in her throat.” He matched her step. “I think we’ve toyed with ourselves long enough,” Flint was saying. “I would if you don’t mind - “ She took another step back. He matched her. Her heart thundered and promised to break free and flutter right into his waiting - for he was - capable hands. “ - very much - “ Her moth watered. “ - love to - “ Her eyes fell to his lips. “I’ll be damned.” In a flash, her hand snakes out and locked him in a fierce embrace. Fire flared. Hear flooded her senses and pooled deep in her core. Sizzling need flashed in lightning speed with an energy that left her overwhelmed and deliciously weak. She was being sucked in. Dragged in as the vacuum would to every spectre of fiery it came across. A light poured like a sea of liquid diamond all over her. Warming her. Assailing her senses. She was there, trapped deep in the tantalising sensations that sought to overpower her. He was all she saw. He was all she felt. He was all she knew. All she tasted. All she wanted. Nothing else mattered. No one else mattered. Rofa growled and whimpered. Surging forward as she opened up to the bond she had struggled with her human desperately to ignore and abandon. It called and they answered as one small entity.
