Chapter Two

I quickly picked up all my lunch and rushed into the small staff kitchen through door to my left. The practice was in an old home that the Dr Witham and Elaine had renovated into the town practice. Elaine quickly followed after me asking if I was okay in her sweet little voice.

“ Maddie do you want to tell me what happened just then?”

“ nothing happened Elaine “ I responded trying to stay as calm as I possibly could. But Elaine seen straight throw my lie.

“ sweetie dose this have something to do with the rumours that went around town a few years ago?”

“What rumours Elaine?” Trying to sound like I didn’t know what she was taking about

“ oh dear the whole town was talking about you and Allan use didn’t exactly hide it very well.”

“They where just rumours Elaine nothing happened between the two of us god he is old enough to be my dad.”

“Okay dear I believe you but you might need to put you big girl pants on because Mr Herman is you first patient of the day.”

“ What? why? I mean that’s fine tell him I will be into the examine room in 5 minutes I just need to put my things away.”

“Okay dear I will let him know now”

“Thank you” I replied and turned around and put a pod into the coffee machine. As I started to walk down the hall way to the examination room it felt like the longest walk of my life, I could feel my hands starting to sweat and my heart start to race. I put my hand on the door handle and slowly turned the handle and opened the door. Sure enough there he was sitting on the examination bed waiting for me with that big stupid smile. I don’t know why this man dose this to me I mean he is no where near as good looking as my husband. With a long beard now with Grey hair through it and scruffy dark brown hair covered with his favourite cap and a slight dad bod built.

“Good morning Mr Herman what can I do for you today?”

“Hello Gorgeous” he say still with that stupid smile on his face.

“I am in for a check up for my new job that starts next week.”

“Okay no problem I will get the paper work started and then can start the physical side on the examination.”

“Will that be where I take my clothes off for you Mrs Bell?”

“WHAT” I said in shock

“No that will not be necessary for the check up thank you Mr Herman.”

“Shame I remember when you couldn’t wait to get me out of my clothes” he whispered in my ear as I lent in to put the blood pressure cuff on his arm.

I turned to my computer and took a few deep breaths before turning back to him.

“ you can’t do that to me here or anymore for that faceted if you are uncomfortable with me doing this check I will quit happily go get Dr Witham.”

“Maddie I didn’t mean anything by it” Allan said looking so sincere.

“Okay well let’s get one with it then” I replied. The examination felt like it took forever, I could feel his eyes looking over every inch of my body. Just like he use too, he looked at me like it was the first time he had even seen my body or the first time he had seen me naked. I could feel the tension in the air. Just then he grab my hand and pulled me in close holding my hand in one of his and his other hand quietly wrapped around my wrist holding me just inch’s from his face. I gasped as I could feel his breath on my face just an inch from my lips. I lick my lips ever so slightly then he whispers softy

“ I won’t kiss you untill you ask me too “

Pulled away as quick as I could.

“That’s all for the day thank you Mr Herman, I am sure you can see your self out now.”

I turned and rushed out of the room like I was one fire, I went straight to the bathroom and slapdash my face with the cooling water. I look down at the water running from the tap then out of know where my phone started to ring. It snapped me from my days as I looked at my phone screen I seen my husbands face pop up on scene I answered

“Hello”

“Hey baby how is your morning going!”

“Oh hi hello honey yeah good just been a busy morning.” Trying with every part of me not to let on that something was wrong.

“Okay baby I just call to ask how your day is going?”

“It’s good honey hey can I call you on my way home my day is a little busy.”

“Sure baby I will talk to you then love you”

“Love you too honey” I replied.

The rest of my day went by quite quickly, but I couldn’t get the moment with Allan out of my head. All day I could feel his breath how close our lips were to touching how bad I wanted to give in to the desire with in my body. By the time I knew it work had come to and end for the day I walked out and said my good byes the Dr Witham and Elaine. As I was walking to my car I could see a peace of paper on my windscreen under the wiper blade. I rushed over to the peace of paper when i opened the note it was from Allan and it said

“ here is my new number baby girl call it any time you need! I have longed to hear your voice for so long now……………… ps I wanted you so bad today”.

I put the note into my bag and hoped into my car, the drive home seemed so long I kept thinking of him and how bad I just wanted to give into my urge for him. I couldn’t take it any more I pulled over on the side on the road got out the car just to clear my head. As I am sitting there on the side of the road beside my car a buzz went off in my pocket. It was a text message from my dad

“Hey Maddie wondering where you are? Dinner was an hour ago please let me know if you are okay love dad xx “

Oh sh*t in the middle of everything I forgot my dad and mum where coming for dinner at our house tonight lucky Matt works from home and dose all the cooking or they would still be waiting for me oop. I hoped in the car and drive straight home.
