TORY We left the clinic and headed towards Freddie’s car, my mind reeling from what just occurred earlier. That doctor gave me a sliver of hope, and even if he didn’t promise it would work out, my tests had a positive outcome. I couldn’t wait to get my sight back and see my family. I have missed them so much, my heart threatened to come out of my chest and search for them. Yes, I know it’s unrealistic, but it’s the way I felt.
