Today was a great day, and I had Eleni to thank it. Seeing her for some odd reason puts a smile on my face, and if I could be with her everyday, it would be the greatest thing to ever happen to me. As I walked to the circus from school, ready to pick up the passes Dad had successfully gotten me for her, I noticed Penelope sneaking towards her trailer.
I decided to follow her, trying to see where she was going, when instead of getting in, turned left to end up behind the circus tent.
Frozen on the spot, I didn’t want to think the worst of it, especially since Christal had warned me several times. But, my stubborn ass decided to follow, and hiding on the other side of the tent, I kept watch.
“Why do you keep leading that boy up, when you can be with me?” Jake’s voice resonated
