Ethan raised an eyebrow slightly and smiled. "So what?"
The young man snorted angrily, "So what? Apologize to me!"
Ethan replied calmly, "Why should I apologize to you?"
Alastor shouted, "Because you dared to throw me down, you should apologize!"
Ethan sneered, "Isn't that what you deserved?"
Hearing Ethan's justified tone, Alastor's nose twisted in anger. His finger trembled as he pointed at Ethan, "You... You're outrageous! If I don't teach you a lesson, you won't understand how powerful I am. Throw him out!"
Just as the security guards were about to act, a commanding voice came from behind, "What's going on here? So noisy. Can't you be more mindful of the impact?"
The fierce expressions on the security guards' faces turned respectful instantly. They bowed with their heads low, "Good morning, Chairman Mcclure!"
Alastor ran over eagerly, a smug smile on his face, "Dad, What brings you here?"
The chairman asked, "What's happening here?"
Alastor casually said, "Nothing serious, just some punk dared to throw me down! I told the security to throw him out!"
The chairman walked over, and when he saw Ethan's face, his expression changed dramatically.
Then, looking at his son with a strange expression, the chairman asked, "Why did he throw you down?"
Alastor said unhappily, "Because he wouldn't let me cut in line!"
Smack!
The chairman slapped Alastor, spinning him around three times before leaving him stunned.
Alastor, feeling wronged, said, "Dad, why hit me?"
The chairman scolded sternly, "You cut in line in public. Don't you deserve to be thrown down? If it were me, I'd not only throw you down but also slap you twice!"
He grabbed Alastor by the ear and walked over to Ethan, his face full of respect. "Master, I'm sorry you had to see that!"
Hearing the chairman address Ethan as "Master" Alastor was stunned, looking at his father in disbelief.
The chairman of Prosperity Mall, a billionaire entrepreneur, Moby Mcclure, was showing such respect to this young man?
Alastor couldn't help but ask, "Dad? Are you drunk?"
Smack!
Moby slapped Alastor on the back of his head, shouting. "You brat, watch your mouth! If not for the Master's guidance, I'd still be a street vendor. Where would you get your luxurious life? Now, bow and apologize to the Master!"
Alastor, trembling with fear, saw that his father wasn't joking. With a bitter face, he said, "Dad, isn't this a bit much?"
Moby scolded fiercely, "Still talking back? Want me to hit you again?"
Ethan waved his hand. "It's fine. It's no big deal. No need for an apology."
Ethan looked at the chairman, Moby, feeling a slight sense of familiarity but unable to recall when he had met him.
After all, Ethan had guided many disciples in his life. Some people he had helped casually and didn't even consider disciples, just individuals he had briefly encountered and assisted.
Ethan said to Moby, "As long as he realizes his mistake and doesn't do it again, it's fine."
Moby nodded quickly. "You're right, Master! You, hurry up and thank the Master."
Alastor clutched his head and muttered softly, "Thank you."
Moby slapped his son again. "Louder!"
Alastor said loudly, "Thank you! I realize my mistake and promise never to do it again!"
Ethan waved his hand and was about to leave when Moby spoke up suddenly, "Master, I know you might not remember me, but I've always remembered the help you gave me back then! Meeting you today is a chance for me to repay that kindness. Would you have time to join me for dinner tonight?"
Ethan waved his hand dismissively. "It was just a small act of kindness. No need for dinner, I need to spend time with my wife and kids."
Moby, somewhat disappointed, said, "Uh... alright then. Master, please feel free to shop around. Anything you want, it's on me."
Without warning, Moby slapped Alastor hard again and shouted, "What a Fool!"
As Moby and his son walked away, Sophia looked at Ethan curiously. "Is he someone you taught before?"
Ethan sighed and smiled wryly. "I don't remember him at all, can you believe it?"
Suddenly, July's face scrunched up. "Daddy, my tummy hurts. I need to go to the bathroom."
Seeing the nearly finished ice cream in July's hand, Ethan tapped her nose. "You ate such cold stuff so quickly. Of course, your tummy will hurt!"
Sophia took July to the restroom, but they returned soon after, with Sophia looking worried. "All the restrooms are full."
July was about to cry. "Daddy, I can't hold it anymore!"
Seeing July's distressed face, Ethan picked her up and ran outside. "I saw a public restroom outside the mall. You wait here and get some rest. I'll take July there."

After that, Ethan pretended to be angry. "Will you still eat like that again?"
July shook her head pitifully. Just as she was about to speak, a sudden loud explosion echoed through the street.
A shockwave rushed over them. Without thinking, Ethan shielded July in his arms, the force blowing him several feet away.
Ethan looked back and saw the direction of the explosion. It was the mall they had just left.
His eyes turned red as he shouted, "Sophia!"
Holding the trembling July, Ethan dashed towards the mall like an arrow. Seeing the towering flames and thick black smoke, his heart tightened, feeling like it would burst.
'Sophia, hang in here!'
