Chapter 22: To The Next Quest!

Kurohito was living freely of his quest, he was focusing on doing the work trying to form new alliance and overall keeping the kingdom out of danger.

But as days went by he got constantly reminded of his next quest by the UI. His next quest being Forming An Alliance in Other Dimensions. Which meant he had to travel to other dimension and meet people there and then forming an alliance with them.

He was not focusing on the Quest for a while as he wanted to take a break. But now after few months he thinks that now the time is right to do the next quest.

So to form an alliance with people from the Dimension he has to travel there first. And so he needs to build a portal first. And to build a portal he needs Obsidian Blocks, which he doesn't have any of.

To find Obsidian Blocks Kurohito and Shio embarked on their recon mission, venturing into the unknown in search of a volcano. As obsidian only spawns near a volcano. As this mission of collecting obsidian didn't seem much difficult he only asked Shio to accompany him.

But as they were leaving the Kingdom cheers of encouragement from the people could be heard.

"Kurohito-Sama, I'm sure you will find Obsidian easily..."

"Kurohito-Sama, Please be safe..."

"Kurohito-Sama Do your best..."

"Kurohito-Sama Have a safe journey..."

With determination in their hearts and supplies for the journey, they set off in a direction rumored to hold the secrets of the Nether. The landscape around them changed dramatically as they left the familiar territory of Savan Kingdom, giving way to barren lands and treacherous terrain.

The sun beat down mercilessly, casting long shadows across the rocky terrain. They trudged forward, their eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of volcanic activity.

"Huh I'm tired, Kurohito-Sama maybe we should take some break..."

Shio said as she was sweating from the heat of the sun and was tired from walking.

"Keep it up..."

"Don't give up just yet..."

"We won't be able get rest here we have to leave this place first..."

Kurohito said trying to encourage her.

After what seemed like hours of endless walking, Kurohito spotted a faint plume of smoke rising in the distance. Excitement surged within him as he quickened his pace, signaling Shio to follow.

"Ohh! I can see smoke..."

"Look over there Shio..."

Kurohito got excited after spotting smoke in the distance as it may be a sign of a volcano.

"If we can see smoke than, it won't hurt if we take some rest right..."

Shio still tired, asking if she could rest. Her tiredness made her unable to spot the smoke.

"Sure we can rest here..."

"After resting for some time we can go to the source..."

Kurohito said.

And after some time after they rested for a while Shio seemed completely recovered now she seems full of energy. Don't know why she seemed so tired before.

"Are you fine now..."

"How did you get tired this fast..."

"It's unusual for you..."

Kurohito asked Shio with a sense of concern.

"I don't know either..."

"Why I got so tired, just walking..."

Shio replied, energetically.

"Well! if you're fine now let's go to the source of the smoke..."

Kurohito said.
