Chapter 2: Mountain & Villagers

[1 week later]

"I finished doing all the basic Minecraft things, like making a starter house, making a wheat farm, I built a mine, I have cattles and I even have horses and Horse Stable"

Kurohito talks to himself, praising himself for the work he's done.

"Because of the mine I have full set of Diamond Armour and Tools..."

He gets a sense of accomplishment..

"I mean diamonds are not hard to find"

"But what else can I do..."

He ponders, while completely forgetting the most important thing. He forgot there are more important things he should worry about like how he got transported in Minecraft.

He's not even thinking about it, perhaps he's trying to escape thinking about it by doing things that you would do in normal Minecraft.

"Ahhhhhhhhh..."

He screams in agony

"Ahhhhhhhhh..."

"I can't do this anymore..."

still screaming in agony..

"I can't escape reality just by playing pretend Minecraft, even though it's reaI. I have to find a way to get out of here."

He tries to get back to reality...

"But I don't know what I should do..."

He doesn't have any clues as to what's doable...

"maybe... maybe... I'll start by exploring near my base, I might find something that will lead the way..."

He tries to think logically of some plans...

"Or... am I stuck here forever..."

But instead gets depressed...

"No... no... no... that can't be true..."

Trying to cheer up...

"Yea, I like Minecraft, but I can't stay here forever..."

"I can't do that, I can't live like that..."

"I have to find a way to escape this world..."

Now being determined... and being motivated...

...

Thus he's decided on going on an adventure, to look for some clue. He decides to leave his base area and go somewhere far. Where he's not yet explored, an uncharted region.

But before going on the adventure he needs to prepare in advance. He'll be gone for long period so he has to get the basic things like food and weapons.

"If I'm going on an adventure, I should get the necessary things."

He said

"I will need food which I have plenty of, I'll take building blocks like dirt which may come in handy for scaffolding and some weapons and tools and torches and maybe some diamond just in case... and this... and that..."

"There all set to go."

He's takes all the basic supplies and keeps it in the inventory, and for rarer items he puts in the Ender Chest.

"Aaa!... the Ender Chest, it was a pain to get because you need to kill EnderMans for that. But now that I think about it was worth it in the end."

As he was using the Ender Chest he remembered how he got Ender Pearls to craft it. Hitting an EnderMan and standing under a 2block high tree so the EnderMan can't hit him back doing it again and to get enough perals.

He's now prepared for the adventure, but... where should he go? should he go in the North Direction where lies a big Mountain Range or in the South where there's a gigantic Ocean. He pondered for a while.

"Where should I go..."

"Maybe the mountains, there's a chance a village is on the other side..."

"Or the ocean, but it's too big..."

"I can get lost in... "

"hmmmm..."

"Where should I go..."

"..."

"Yep... I've decided..."

He decides on scaling the mountain as he thought the oceans would be more dangerous.

"Yep... the mountains are the better option, oceans may be dangerous... and I don't wanna get lost... and I don't even know what happens when you die."

"And... and... there might be a Village behind the mountain, so it's a better option."

Thus he began his adventure by sleeping in his bed, and waiting for morning because he doesn't want to go in this dark.

When the morning rised he started walking towards the mountain, to reach the peak. The mountain is huge even taller than the clouds the peak reaching the heights of around 300 blocks. The mountain range extended more than 1000 blocks. It was covered with snow at top and made up of common stone blocks.

On his way he finds lots of new animals that he never saw in Minecraft before.

Like variety of Sheep and Cow, new animals like Badger, Snow Leopard and lots more. He also sees new varieties of trees and foliage. He gets fascinated and realises how much of this world is still a mystery that he doesn't know.

As midday arrives he reaches almost the top, just few more blocks till he reached the peaks.

"I'm almost at the top just few more blocks to go..."

"I thought this would take much longer so I'm not complaining..."

"The dirt blocks I brought as scaffolding helped a lot..."

He praises himself...

He finally reached the top...

"Oooffff... I'm tired, I'll take a breather here, but I reached the top, so I can relax a bit and enjoy this beautiful scenery while looking around for point of interest..."

After reaching the top Kurohito takes some rest while eating some bread and munching on some meat. As he gazes at the beautiful scenery. The view is significantly more amazing as now there is no limitations of render distance in this world so you can see exceptionally far without any problem.

Looking around he spots a village just below the mountain. The village was in a Savannah Biome and it looked quite big. That's way it was visible from up the mountain.

"Ohh... is that a village..."

He gets excited, as his estimations were correct...

"I knew it... my luck is so awesome, I should head there now..."

Trying not to waste time...

"But how... do I have to walk there or is there a faster way to do it... I don't want to walk down there..."

searching for ways to reach the village...

He thinks for a while looking around to find something that may help.

Until he notices a waterfall that reaches down the mountain, it might be a risque solution so he looks for other options.

"What can I do..."

"I need to find the fastest way to get down there... it's gonna be night soon, so I want to get there before sunset"

"something... something... that can help..."

Fiercely looking around.

He's finds nothing, so he walks towards the waterfall... and decides to ride it.

"Hmmmm.... I know what I should do but don't know if I have the confidence to do it."

Saying it in a monotone voice.

"That's a waterfall that lead straight down the mountain. If I craft a boat and ride down this waterfall it should be faster than walking down, right?"

Questioning himself...

"Well night is gonna set... so it might be more dangerous if I stay here..."

"Well let's try out my luck... and see what happens..."

"Worst case scenario my plan won't work and I'll die, and the best case scenario my does work and I reach the down successfully"

Trying to be serious and logical.

"well here goes nothing..."

Finding no other solutions, he pops in his boat and decides to rides down the waterfall...

He doesn't know if he'll make it or not.

[Down in the Village]

Below the mountain a Village called 'Savan Village' which has around 20-24 houses with around 64 residents. A village built in the Savannah Biome, where people try to live in harmony.

Villagers were going along with their daily routine, it's still day so they're working. Like Blacksmiths making tools, Farmers going through their fields and cultivating crops. Stone Masons making clay items and more...

But along with this there were two villagers who were slacking off on work and chatting near the waterfall.

These two villagers were Akiho a Stone Mason who's speciality is making flower pots and Kayo a Clergy who specialises in making Potions. They regularly slack off work and come near the waterfall to chat as they get bored of their work so they enjoy the scenery and calmness of the waterfall. The village is maybe about 50 blocks far from the waterfall so it's not a long walk.

"Hmmmm... So Akiho hows your work going these days?.. hmmmm..."

Kayo asks while looking at the waterfall and feeling bored.

In that Akiho replies with.

"Hmmmm... nothing much same as usual... boring, making flower pots are rather a boring job. Hmmmm... how about you?."

Feeling kinda worn out from work...

"Hmmmm... How's your work going?.."

Akiho asks Kayo, with the same bored face Kayo had...

"Hmmmm... same as usual, nothing interesting ever happens anyway..."

"I craft potions, but it's always 'Health Potions' and nothing else, I want to craft some fun potions

But my master doesn't allow it..."

Kayo replied.

"Hmmmm... Yea, when Pillagers started attacking this village the demand for Health Potions had also increased..."

"But at least, your potions are in demand unlike my Pots..."

Kayo said with a monotone voice...

"sigh..."

Akiho and Kayo both sigh...

Recently this village has been getting Pillaged by the Pillagers who live around 1000 blocks in the North Direction.

In Minecraft Pillager Raids were triggered by the Player, but in this world it seems to be happening automatically. Maybe not all Minecraft systems are as accurate as the game. This also seemed to be case with the sleeping system, Kurohito was able to sleep without a bed to skip the night...

Pillagers are mobs which look the exact same as the villagers but with a different colour. They carry around weapons and they love to use Crossbows.

But Pillagers are not alone when they're pillaging...

The other mobs include Witches who are also identical as a Villager but with different colour, and to attack they use Potions. But the strongest mob they have are the Ravenger Beast which are giant rouge beasts which destroys anything that comes in their path.

With all these mob they form a party and loot villages of their food supplies, steal their armour and tools, destroying their crops destroying their houses. Even killing any villagers that comes in their way.

The two villagers kept talking...

"Yes!... hmmmm... I don't want to see the Pillagers again..."

"They steal my potions, that I have worked hard on..."

Akiho said...

"If only we had someone strong to protect this village, someone like a Player..."

"Our village would be saved..."

"But our village doesn't have anyone like that..."

Akiho says, hoping for things to change...

...But just as he said that he hears a loud scream coming from the waterfall.

Aaaaahhhh....

Aaaaahhhhhhh....

The voice seems to be getting louder and louder... The villagers gets scared and in turn they start acting dumb.

"Hmmmm... are the Pillagers back..."

Kayo says as he slowly backs away from the waterfall...

"Hmmmm... no it can't be, why would they be in the waterfall, they would be attacking the village..."

Akiho says, trying to make sense of the situation...

The loud noise not making making sense, they came to conclusion it's the waterfall that's making this loud noise.

Perhaps the Water God is angry at them.

Both villagers gets scared and bow down to the waterfall, Now scared they plead for their life.

"Hmmmm... Ohh... it's maybe the waterfall, we were complaining so much that the water gods are angry at us..."

Kayo says that...

"Hmmmm... maybe we should start apologizing to the waterfall..."

Akiho's genius plan

The both Villagers beg for mercy as they think the waterfall is angry at them...

The village start to do a dance asking for forgiveness... Jumping and walking in circles... while chanting...

"Ohhhh great waterfall please spare our lives"

"We won't come here just to complain about our jobs, ever again"

"We will do our jobs properly and never slack off..."

"Ohhhh great waterfall please spare our lives"

And then they hear a loud

!!!!...S P L A S H...!!!!

It seems something fell down in the water, they try to inspect while fearing their lives...

Kayo tries to speak to the fallen object..

"Hmmmm... is there someone there? are you ok? do you need help?"

Kayo fearing his life, still trying to land a helping hand. But backs away when he heard a voice...

"Phew.... I'm still alive..."

They heard a heavy voice...

"My plan worked... I'm totally a genius..."

Then a 1.8 metres tall Man emerges from the water slowly walking towards them.

"It's a human, hmmmm... someone is walking towards us... hmmmm..."

Akiho & Kayo both shout at the same time.

"Is it a villager?.."

Kayo asked...

"No... it doesn't look like..."

Akiho replied...

As the man slowly walked towards them. The villagers started showing fear in their eyes, hugging each other and shivering in fear...

"Hello are you a villager?"

The man spoke with a voice heavy, enough lift weights...

And it seemed the man, the villagers were getting scared of was none other than Kurohito who just jumped down the waterfall because the boat he was riding down got destroyed.
