Calissa’s POV
We went to eat an early dinner on the pier. My shoulder was a little sore from what happened today, but I wanted to get a meal for Judy. She was there for me when she didn’t have to be. She could have run away and left me alone to deal with Camila and Jacob, but she didn’t. She went to get help for me, plus she hadn’t been able to go to the pier yet. I wanted to show her around. Don’t get me wrong, I love my cousins. But I was truly excited about making a school friend. I hadn’t had one for a while now, and I was thrilled at the thought of it. She was smart, and she seemed like she actually liked me.
