Chapter11

Elaine. The moon wasn't at its brightest but it was enough to illuminate my stepbrother's very naked and very wet body. My mouth hung open and my gaze went down to his crotch, widening at the sight of his manhood. Goddess! “Hey hey hey, don't stare. You're being a bad girl!” He snapped at me but made no attempt to cover up. My lips trembled, unable to utter a word. I managed to fold my arms and tear my gaze from his c**k. A smirk appeared on his lips and he took two steps closer towards me. I froze and my breath caught in my throat. He was barely an inch away from me but I held my ground. “Come on, I know you want to stare, you don't have to pretend.” He whispered, his words sounding like a spell of enchantment. “I…won't!” I blurt through pursed lips. “Are you sure?” He asked, leaning closer to me. His eyes pierced into mine with a burning intensity but I refused to break. He was challenging me and I was happy to accept his challenge. Even though I really wanted to give just a little nudge so I could feel his third leg. Suddenly, his expression changed and he stepped back and walked past me. I pivoted, my gaze following him, almost in disappointment. “Where were you?” I asked, gawking at his firm ass and taking in the glory of his muscular back. “There was an issue at the border, the Elders called for me to help.” He said briefly and waited for no other question before climbing up the stairs. The ‘issue’ must have been a battle, hence, the sweating and the nakedness. I looked up at where he had been moments ago, wondering what was up with him. I shook my head, batting off the image of his nakedness from my mind as I made my way back to my room to call it a night…again. … Just like before, several loud knocks drew me out of my sleep. I scratched my eyes with the back of my eyes as I looked out the window -the sun wasn't even fully out yet. I groaned as I slid off my bed and opened the door. Of course, Jeremy was the one standing at the entrance. Without a word, my glare alone was enough of a question. “Come on, Elaine. If you want to be a good Alpha princess, you'd really have to work on your heavy sleeping.” He said with a smirk. I scrunched my face. “Don't say Alpha princess, it's cringe.” I remarked but Jeremy only smirked more. “I know. Get ready. I'll be waiting for you downstairs.” With that, he sauntered off. “Get ready for what?” I asked after him. “A tour around the pack!” I heaved a sigh. It was certainly going to be a long day. It didn't take me long to take my bath and get dressed. I opted for a simple top and trousers. As strange as it seemed, I was actually looking forward to seeing more of Night Walker pack. Surely, I'd met most of its young members, but it didn't quite feel as exciting as it would to tour the entire pack. The only downside I saw in it was that Jeremy would be my guide. I met him sitting in the living room, legs spread apart nonchalantly as he operated the TV remote. I stood by the right side of the sofa, looking at what he was watching. I frowned, “You're watching human news?” I exclaimed. Jeremy dropped the remote and rested his elbows on his knees, grinning. “I don't know about you, I find their government quite…fascinating.” he said. I eyed him with a hint of repulsion. Watching human TV wasn't a rare thing in the werewolf world. I've come across many werewolf households who watch their various channels and broadcasts. I just didn't find them -in Jeremy's terms- fascinating. “You know, last I checked, you were taking me on a tour right about…” “Okay okay, killjoy,” he sprang to his feet, “let's go!” The area where the mansion sat was surrounded by a few houses -small abodes when compared to the Alpha's mansion. The area itself was dry land, barely containing any grass or trees. Although, I did spot a few strategically planted trees around. “So…where do you want me to show you first?” Jeremy asked, breaking my scrutiny. “Don't know,” I shrugged, “you're the Alpha.” Jeremy muttered something as we turned to the left side of the street. The pack might be located in an unknown valley, but it was certainly lively…in its own way. I spotted a few shops along the road and there were far more people than I'd imagined I'd see that morning. “How many pack members are there in NightWalker?” I asked Jeremy. “Two hundred, as at the time the last census was taken.” He answered immediately. “Two hundred?” I exclaimed. “Isn’t that a lot of werewolves in a single place?” He shrugged, facing me with a smirk. “Well, we've been leaving that way for decades. I guess a lot of our kind just want to dwell somewhere peaceful and quiet. NightWalker pack has all that.” I think the smirk has become an imprint on him. He was sounding very serious yet the smirk was there. I hummed in agreement with his words. “Here we are!” He exhaled as we arrived at a small but lengthy building. Although there was no sign outside, I knew -with the soft toys and playsets I saw through the windows -that we were at a daycare. “NightWalker nursery,” Jeremy pointed out, suddenly looking excited. Then it dawned on me; Iria mentioned something about her mom with ‘the kids’. Her mom worke d here. I rolled my eyes and stifled a groan. Why, out of all places, did he have to bring me here first?
