NORA Mark showed up to the suite brandishing some red roses. I wasn't sure how or where he got them, but they smelt so nice. But here's the thing with flowers: they might look and smell nice, but I never knew what to do with them. In a couple days, they would wither and their scent would fade. What was I to do with them afterward? Throw them away? But I didn't say a word to Mark, I simply smiled, thanked him, and accepted it. Sam, on the other hand, was very quick to call me out on my clumsiness. According to her, she left me for a few days and the result was a concussion I'd very stupidly given myself. I kept it to myself (so I didn't seem like a psychopath), but a part of me didn't mind being a little banged up. Why so? Because Liam’s entire persona seemed to have changed around me.
