In my memories, Belmor Town's snow always came late. As a pup, I'd count down the days to winter, clinging to Gabriel's arm, my eyes sparkling as I ticked off my fingers. "How long till the big snow? You gotta build me a whole yard full of snowmen." Gabriel's hands, though, were hopeless at it. He'd make ten, and maybe one would look half-decent. Still, he'd puff up, grinning, "Check it out, I carved a dragon."
