I woke up to my phone vibrating nonstop.
At first, I ignored it. Ariana was finally asleep beside me, her face still a little puffy from crying last night. I didn’t want anything waking her. But the buzzing didn’t stop. It got louder, more aggressive—calls, messages, notifications. Something was wrong.
I carefully slipped out of bed, grabbed the phone from the nightstand, and stepped into the hallway.
The first headline almost made me drop it.
“VALE HEIRESS EXPECTING HER FIRST CHILD — INSIDERS CONFIRM.”
My jaw tightened. Another one popped up.
