She was very shocked when he said that especially because she did not know this boss and has no idea why he would want to meet her on her first day at work.

She has just entered the company so she did not think she might have done anything that might make them fire her. This is a job she was willing to fight for, she will not go down without a fight.

She will do anything in her powers to get out of her grandmother's house even if it means working overtime.

She also wished her work place was not in this city, that would have been an extra bonus. That would have relieved her of all the pain she goes through in that house.

Nobody can understand how much she was so tired of that family. Any man that comes her way right now to marry her, she wouldn't think twice but to accept him.

She took her sketch book from her bag and continued to design a dress that she has been working at for a couple of days now.

She did not know what was wrong with her these days but she suddenly has the edge to design herself a wedding gown.

She did not know why she would want such but she has been picturing herself in a wedding gown these days.

I even want to see this dress for myself. If I had an apartment, I think I would have started sewing it even though I do not even have a boyfriend yet.

I try my best to forget about love for a while. Thinking about love will not make me leave that hell house. Only a successful career can remove me from that hell house. She muttered this to herself as she continued drawing.

She was so immersed in her drawing such that she did not even notice that Alex was standing right next to her until she saw him grabbing her pencil.

She wondered who the hell had the guts to hold her pencil when she was at such a critical stage, do they even know how important this design was to her.

She looked up with an irritated look then she smile the moment she saw that it was Alex.

It was her first time seeing this guy but she thinks he will be the only friend she will have in this building. In all her life she has learnt that friends can betray you when you least expect it.

She has learned that from her sister, Adriana, she once found the guy she was madly in love with, in bed with her best friend and she learned to never trust anyone from that day.

She hid her book away from him the moment she heard him say such. She did not want people to see her wedding dress, she only want people to see this on her wedding day.

"Thank you Alex, is it time to go?"

"Yes Ms Davids, the boss is already waiting for you. Let us quickly go there before he loses his patience. He is a man with very little patience but don't tell him I told you that." He winked at me after he said this.

She stood up the moment she heard him say that. She has seen how Ms Stevens reacted when Alex mentioned the boss so there is no way she would want to anger him. Little did she know that she has already crossed paths with him.

Alex lead her to Mr Valentino's office but when they entered the office it was empty. She thought she was going to go back to her cubicle.

She was happy to see the office empty because this meant, she will go back and finish her design, only a few details were left for her to finally say she was done.

But she saw Alex shaking his head and saying "come in, the fact that he is no longer in that chair means that we are in trouble. This definitely means we are very late."

She didn't understand him even though fear engulfed her and she saw him touching a book that made the book shelf somehow open.

There was a secret door behind the book shelf and she was amazed as she watched him open the door by scanning his face.

He led her to what seems to be a secret path that led to a penthouse and there were bodyguards by the door.

She was a bit nervous and scared, she will not lie about that. She was scared because to tell the truth she has only met this guy today so she can not fully trust him.

She asked herself what if he abducts her but then she thought about what she's got that can make him abducts her.

She has seen how the department director respect this man, he does not seem to be that type of a person.

Another thing that scared her was being worried about the kind of a boss they have that can have a secret house right in the office building.

Even though she was scared but she did not show it, she has learnt since she was young to never show the other person how scared she was of them.

Once you show people your weakness then they will use that against you so there is no way she would show them that she was scared of them.

The bodyguards had big guns and the table he led her to also had men standing next to it with big guns.

She did not understand why these people look like criminals and a part of her told her to walk away but then who was she.

She was a girl that loves to go where there is danger. She wanted to know more about these men with guns in a company that deals with apparel design.

Her eyes were locked at the men that she had slapped in the morning on the elevator.

Her eyes opened wide because of shock and she said, "oh, we meet again." Then her eyes slowly shifted to the man dressed in a navy blue suit.

She was too shocked such that she could no longer act brave, her handbag dropped on the ground the moment she discovered that her boss was the man that had his papers scatter on the elevator after she had bumped on him.

She forgot about not showing her weakness because people will use that against her. She patted her cheeks a few times to wake herself up.

'Hell I must be really dreaming. I need to pinch myself several times just to see if I was really awake.' She muttered those words to herself. Then she suddenly heard a very cold laughter that made her legs shake.
