Sheba’s P.O.V
This was not good, I didn't want to leave Asher and Shadow, but what choice did I have if Mercury was refusing to see the truth? I needed to give it one last shot, maybe if I could reach out to Asher and Shadow they could push Mercury even further and try to break through to him. This was my last ditch effort to try and help Cheyenne.
“Asher, Shadow, can you hear me?” I asked, trying to mind-link him and I waited a few minutes before I finally felt the connection go through.
“Yes, Sheba we can both hear you. How are you and Cheyenne doing?” Asher asked, mind-linking me back. Well, it was now or never, here goes nothing.
“We’re leaving tomorrow, Cheyenne’s giving up. Your human can not and will not open his eyes. Cheyenne is broken, Asher and Shadow, he has broken
