Chapter 18 enemies

Blood Thirsty vampire’s P.O.V

  I was in the tree lines, watching when I saw that wolf, Cheyenne’s best friend.

  “If I could get Amber and trap her then I could make her choose. Cheyenne would have to choose between being my queen or having Amber drained and maybe, just maybe that would work.” I said to the woman standing beside me. 

  “My lord, I'm not sure if that's going to work, you could trap the best friend's boyfriend, that might work.” Cindy said, clearing her throat, but I shook my head no.

  “I'd rather have a female to trap. I'll think of something, I always do.” I said and Cindy rolled her eyes. I think she had a feeling that I was going to end up getting myself in trouble. I suddenly heard branches snapping behind me and I knew exactly who it was.

  “There you are, it's about time you got here. Have you decided on a plan?” I asked, turning around to face Holly.

  Holly’s P.O.V

  I shook my head no, thinking to myself that I took a long hot bath and put on clean clothes, but he didn't even notice. How can I tell a vampire that he is my mate? This has really gotten out of hand and I need to do something about it. I tried to shake the smell of his scent off, so that I would have a clear head to talk to him.

  “Listen, we need to talk. Would you mind if we step aside out of earshot of your lady friend.” I asked, but he just chuckled.

  “She is not my lady friend, she is actually my spy.” He said and I nodded, taking him by the hand and leading him away. We finally got far enough away from her and stopped by a huge oak tree, where I stopped and turned to face him.

  “You never told me your name, you know my name, but I don't know yours.” I asked, but he sighed.

  “Why does everyone I ever meet want to know my name? My name is Micheal, okay, happy now. Holly, can we get back to what we are needing to do? I'm hungry and I need to feed.” Micheal said, but I shook my head.

  “No. I came here to tell you that I don't want Mercury anymore.” I replied and he looked confused.

 “Then what do you want, Holly? We said we would help each other, but now you don't want him anymore. Tell me, what do you want.” Micheal asked me.

  Micheal’s P.O.V

  I knew exactly what she wanted and I had felt it all along, but I was waiting for her. Will this be the night she will finally confess her love for me? I looked at her carefully and all I wanted to do was grab her and kiss her, but I wanted to make sure that she wanted it too. She looked beautiful tonight, her long fair hair had curls and she had put on some light make-up, not that she needed it. The dress she was wearing looked beautiful on her and fit her curves perfectly. I was looking her up and down, admiring her beauty when she cleared her throat and snapped me out of my thoughts.

  “I want you Micheal. All I can do is think about you, I smell your scent everywhere and I hurried here just so I could see you and tell you. The hell with them, let someone else kill them, we’ll be the next power couple. We could join our packs together and grow stronger together.” Holly said, it sounded like she was begging and i didnt like that, I wanted her to stop.

  “Holly, baby girl, where is that fierceness that I have come to adore? I loved how you were before, do not change. If you want our packs to join together then there are rules, love. They can no longer be rogue’s, they must have baths and clean clothes before they can join and they must take the oath. There will be no rogue’s living in my castle.” I replied and Holly nodded, as I took her hands in mine.

  “What took you so long? I have known that we are mates since I first met you, I just didn't want to push you into it.” I asked and she sighed.

  “I didn't want to admit it to myself, but the more time we spent together, the more I knew you were my mate and I couldn't fight it anymore.” Holly replied and it made me smile. I could feel Cindy creeping up on us, trying to get close enough to hear us, but I had already sensed her.

  “We will no longer be needing your services.” I said, just as she came up behind us.

  “You still owe me blood sucker.” Cindy said and I looked back at Holly to find she was smirking.

  “Oh, we owe you. The only thing you have done is sit on your ass and watch with us. We owe you nothing, Cindy.” Holly replied and I smirked.

  “Well, i am hungry.” I said and grabbed hold of Cindy by the throat, as she screamed for her life. 

  “PLEASE….PLEASE DON'T! I COULD BE USED FOR OTHER THINGS! I COULD DO ANYTHING YOU WANT! I COULD….” Cindy screamed out, but before she could get another word out I had sunk my fangs deep into her neck, draining her completely. She went limp in my arms as she took her last breath and I let her go, dropping her to the ground. Holly stepped forward and pressed down on her neck, breaking it just for good measure and then sliced her throat.

  “Come with me, Holly. I have a whole world to show you.” I said, wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her close, as we vanished back to my castle.

  Alpha Kent’s P.O.V

  I was storming around, pacing back and forth, trying to think. How the f**k did he get all of my snipers? There has to be a way around this, around him. The way his mate handled mine was unbelievable, she was so strong, too strong to just be an ordinary Luna….Shit, she has to be an Alpha as well.

  "Jennifer, get in here." I said, mind-linking my mate and within a few minutes she was standing before me.

  "How's your head? Any better." Jennifer asked, looking concerned.

  "My head is fine, but my other head needs to be tended to." I said, smirking at her as my eyes turned black with lust.

  "I'll tend to that in a few minutes. What's your plan to take over that pack?" Jennifer replied, grinning. I knew when we found each other that she was all business and would make a great Luna, but that wouldn't satisfy my other needs.

  "Call your friends Carla and Brenda, tell them we need as many she-wolves as possible. I just figured out that Mercury's Luna is an Alpha as well, so we need all the strong Luna's to take her down. We're going to chain her in silver chains and see how she feels about rejecting Mercury and once she rejects him. He will no longer be the Alpha Don, I'll be the Don and I'll be able to take over the business, just make those calls and I'll make mine." I commanded and she nodded.

  "I'll make them tomorrow, didn't you say you have something that needed to be tended to?" Jennifer asked, smirking as she walked over to me and started running her hands over my chest.

  "Oh yes that, come here baby and tend to it." I replied, guiding my hands up her skirt.
