Chapter 6

~ Damon ~ Everything has been going well in my club so far. I guess that means the new server hasn't messed anything up. I haven't seen her yet but I'm sure I will soon. "Hey, bro. Apricot was asking me about you on my way here." Jax says as he sits down next to me in the VIP section. I roll my eyes while taking a sip of my whiskey, "Her ass seems to think that she's my damn girlfriend or someone important to me." Jax laughs and slaps me on the back, "Well, you do call her almost every week. It's your own fault." "Yeah, for a quick lay and because she's good with her mouth when she isn't talking. If I was going to have a girlfriend, it definitely wouldn't be her. She may be a good f**k but she's annoying and too damn clingy. Did you forget what she did when she walked in on me f*****g that woman the other day?" I remind him, watching as he winces at the memory. "Hmm... Yeah, you're right." He leans back in his seat and stretches his arms behind his head. "Anyway, I'm pretty sure she said she would be waiting for you in your office." My head snaps in his direction, "Are you f*****g kidding me? And you just let her go?" "Hey, man." He holds his hands up in surrender. "I'm not her damn babysitter." I let out a deep sigh and stand up before making my way to my office. When I walk in, my gaze instantly lands on Apricot, who is sitting on my desk in her tiny ass work uniform. "Hey, babe. Took you long enough." She says with a smirk. I shut the door behind me and walk up to her while speaking in an irritated voice, "What the f**k did I say about you coming into my office without my permission?" She batted her fake eyelashes at me and put her hand over my d**k through my pants, "I'm sorry. I just missed you, babe." "Stop f*****g calling me that." I tell her while grabbing her wrist tightly in my hand. She gently rubs my d**k which is beginning to get hard. I pull her down from the desk, turn her around, lift her skirt and bend her over my desktop. After we were done and while I was pulling up my pants, I heard the sound of glass breaking and someone yelling right after, "f**k, you stupid b***h!! What the f**k is wrong with you?!" Are you f*****g kidding me? I open my office door, grabbed Apricot who looks about ready for round two, and pushed her out. Then I closed the door behind me and made my way towards the growing crowd near the bar. I stop when I get there and cross my arms over my chest. My eyes land on Kole and I see him rubbing his head with glass scattered around his feet. Then I look in front of me and see a woman walking backward towards me. She bumps into my chest and immediately freezes before turning around and slowly looking up to my face. I'm shocked for a moment when I see her. She's by far the most gorgeous woman I have ever laid my eyes upon. She's wearing very little makeup... almost none. Her long hair flows straight down her back and her emerald green eyes stare right into mine. Her lips are slightly parted, painted with nude lipstick. Damn, I just want to grab her face and smash my lips onto hers. I want to taste her mouth and every other inch of her body. We both just stare at each other, not saying a word. I realize that everyone is looking at us and I'm pretty sure this woman is the one who smashed that beer bottle over Kole's head. She might be beautiful but I'm still the boss and owner of this place. I also hate it when people make a damn mess and scene in my club. Being the first one to break the silence, I ask her, "What the hell do you think you're doing starting s**t in my club?" •••• ~Roxie ~ I blink a couple of times after hearing his question. I'm not going to stand here and lie. This sexy ass man in front of me actually scared me a bit with his intimidating figure. His presence alone commands authority. He could walk into a room and all eyes would instantly be on him... the exact same way that they all are right now. However, when he spoke and assumed that I was the one starting anything in his club, anger rose through me. I clenched my fists, squared my shoulders, held my head up, and stared him straight in the eyes, not wanting him to think that he has power over me. "Me? You think I'm the one who started this s**t?" Upset, I point a finger in the asshole's direction. "This stupid man was the one who didn't want to leave me alone. If this is really your club, you should be doing a better job keeping an eye on things." It got even quieter around us if that was even possible. He came closer to my face and narrowed his eyes at me while saying, "Watch your f*****g tone. Do you have any idea who you're speaking to?" Shit... no, but I'm assuming you must be very important if everyone looks scared out of their minds right now. I felt a whole new wave of fear wash over me but I wasn't about to let him see that. Finding my voice again, I respond in a careless tone, "Judging from when you told me that this is your club, I'm going to assume you're my boss but at the moment, I don't give a s**t. You're supposed to keep your employees safe. I only just started a week ago. What if that damn pervert would've tried to force himself on me?" He raises an eyebrow and looks down at me for a while with no emotion before he asks, "So you're the new server, hmm? Kole wouldn't have tried to force himself on you. Also, you should give a s**t who you're talking to. I could make your life hell with a snap of my fingers." "Are you calling me a liar?" I ask him in disbelief with my arms crossed over my chest. He c***s his head to the side, "No, I'm not. What I'm saying is-" I put a hand up to stop him from finishing his sentence, "You know what? Whatever... I don't care. I'm leaving." I turn on my heels and walk through the crowd of people to get out of the club. In the parking lot, I take out my keys and unlock my car. Just as I opened my car door, a tattooed hand pushed it back closed again. I quickly spin around, only to be faced with the sexy man from inside the club. Well, I guess I should stop calling him that since he appears to be my boss. "Where are you going?" He asks me as he puts his arms on either side of me, caging me in between my car and his body. I raise one of my eyebrows, "Excuse me?" He tilts his head to the side a bit and says, "I'm pretty sure you heard me." I scoff at him, "Yeah and I'm pretty sure you heard me when I said that I'm leaving." He eyes me up and down before saying, "You disrespected me back there in front of all those people." "Well, that sounds like a you problem." I tell him while rolling my eyes. Can he just leave me alone so I can go home already? Sliding one of his hands up my thigh, he stops just below my ass and squeezes my skin gently before telling me in a quiet voice, "I should punish you." I hold my breath as goosebumps spread throughout my entire body. His hand heated up my skin despite the cool breeze of the night. "Everyone else wouldn't dare to speak to me the way that you did." He says, his voice low and husky. Looking up into his eyes, my brows furrow and I tell him, "It seems to me that you just got a little too comfortable with having power over others." He stays silent for a couple of seconds before replying with a smirk, "You still have twenty minutes left of your shift." "Does it look like I care?" I ask him in an annoyed tone. "Feel free to fire me. If you treat all of your employees the way you treated me after they get harassed then I'd rather find another job." An amused expression flashed across his face, "Who said I was going to fire you? All I said was that you have twenty minutes before you could leave." "The club isn't going to fall apart if I leave twenty minutes early. Plus, I have better places to be at right now." I tell him, not wanting to be here a second longer. I've gone through a lot but it doesn't mean that I'm fine with getting harassed. He leans in closer to me and moves his mouth near my ear before speaking in a low and husky voice, "And where would those better places be other than at my club with me?" Damn, his cologne smells good. A shiver runs up my spine as his mint and whiskey breath hits my skin. I clear my throat and say, "That's not any of your business." He puts his face back directly in front of mine and I look down. He grabs my chin gently and lifts my face back up, forcing me to look into his eyes. He moves his body closer, leaving barely any space between us. When he spoke again, the sound of his voice was low and deep, "I'll see you tomorrow, il mio amore." I let out a shaky breath and watch as he takes a step back, turns around, and walks back into the club. I shake my head and blink a couple of times before opening my car door again and getting in. The entire way home, my head was filled with thoughts about my boss but as soon as I walked through the door of my apartment, all of those thoughts vanished and the only person on my mind was my sweet bubbles.
