Elizabeth caved and spent an extra day in bed, catching up on sleep and eating mushy food. Colin managed to both keep an eye on her and run their business. For the first time in weeks, she’d been able to relax. Now, though, she needed to get back to work. She had to check on the progress of the bowling alley and figure out a plan for the grand reopening. She also had to nag the insurance company about getting her a check for the damages after the break-in.
