MARIAN’S POV
Now that Nelson backed me up in trying to put his father behind bars, I knew that he had forgiven me. Mr. Walker did not argue about the statement thing when I left to write it down. He left however, maybe to solve things with his wife before he is arrested.
I recorded the statement and the police promised to work on it. I had never gone to check on Noah ever since then and I kept on postponing the hearing of Nelson’s case. I was the only witness so I kept lying that I was not ready yet but the truth is that I never wanted to see him in jail. I f*****g love Nelson and I was going to do something about that soon enough.
I also feel good about finding out about Mr. Walker. Someone had to pay for the death of my cousin and I feel good that the real person behind it is going to
