Amelia. Dinner passed gently after that. The conversation stayed light, drifting easily from one topic to another, but the silence between us no longer felt awkward. Somehow, it had become comfortable. Intimate even. Like we were slowly learning each other in all the spaces between words instead of the words themselves.
