The break was gone way too quickly for my liking. I really wanted him to stay longer. Luckily I had earned some extra money even though I was fake dating Justin. So, I went and got Noah a promise ring and had Shelly's Fiancée engraved on in for all the world to see. I had swiped his class ring to get his size. When I presented him with it, he smiled and held out his hand smirking I slipped it on, and he pulled me in close to him. "I really like this Shelly it will make it a lot easier for me, so I don't have to explain I am taken." "I look at him are you sure the guy at the jewelry store says guys don't usually wear rings not even there wedding bands" he lifts up my chin and says "I am not one of those guys. Don't forget I got all my flirting out of me in High School your the only girl I want and it is just too hard always having to say I have a beautiful girl back home now all I have to do is show them my hand. He kissed me one last time taking my breath away before heading to his plane.
Thankfully Lee was with me on this trip because I cried the whole way home. I missed him so much, and after everything with Justin, I just wanted him to still be with me. "ok, I think I will like that" When we got home Lee called Rachel and told her today was not a good day that I needed a few to accept that Noah had gone back to school, but he would let her know when I was ready. The rest of the night we laid next to each other watching movies only taking a break for 10 minutes so I could talk to Noah when he called to tell me he made it safe. I guess the waiting game begins again.
