Beatrix
Did he say The Rose Legion? Like the actual Rose Legion? Asked Ashton
Yup that's what he said.
So does that mean they wants to make us one of the most elite and deadliest warriors?
I'm gonna go with yes Ash. Wait! Did they already plan to make us apart of the Legion since they found us? I ask.
I think so. But we wont know unless we ask them. She says
Pulling from my conversation with Ash I see everyone staring at me. Eyeing everyone I can see that they notice my hesitance towards me joining the Rose Legion. Derek is the first to say something.
"Beatrix you don't need to be hesitant of the Rose warriors. You were chosen to become one of them. You're more powerful then we have even realized based on what you just did to Dominic. We will be there for you and help you through any problem that you come across. Plus no one would dare ever hurt you." Derek says trying to encourage me.
Fidgeting with my fingers I think over what Derrick said.
Jesus, Bea you know he wont lie to you or hurt you. I know you know that I'm telling the truth, you can feel it in your soul.
I know he would never hurt me and for some reason I know that he would lay his life down for me. Why do I get that feeling that they would all protect me with their lives?
Because they would. You know what you feel is true. Focus on that feeling and see what happens it may give you the answers you wish for.
Nodding my head I'm pulled back to everyone watching me with curiosity. Taking a deep breath I close my eyes and do as Ash told me to. I forced on the feeling of protection that they project towards me.
At first I feel nothing special happening then a flash of white light explodes behind my eyelids. Jarring me from my thoughts I snap my eyes open. I still stand in the middle of the training field but its different this time.
Bodies scatter the ground, women and children weep for the loss of their loved ones.
Men fighting to protect the other injured warriors. Women ushering the crying mothers and children in the castle for safety. In the middle of the chaos that surrounds me I hear a child crying as a rouge stalks towards her.
Without a second thought I charge towards the rogue. Throwing my body at his front shoulder throwing him off balance. I stand in front of the crying girl protectively. Swiftly I shift into Ashton, looking over my large shoulder I motion for the girl to run. Wanting her as far from this fight she takes my suggestion and runs to the other women and children.
Focusing back on my prey in front of me I lower myself into my attack stance. The rouge attacked first swinging his large paw towards my snout. Dodging him I hit him with a strike of my own paw. He bit and nipped at me trying to find my weakness. I dodged and attacked as if it was muscle memory guiding me.
Having enough of his little games I pounce on him biting into his neck with as much force I can muster. Feeling him struggle against me making me bite down harder till my teeth cut through him severing his head.
Looking up from the now dead wolf I see a man stalk towards me. He looked as if he was taking a leisurely stroll down the street not walking in the middle of a battle field.
As he comes towards me I study him trying to figure out who he is and why he's here. He looked like a modern day Viking. With his perfectly tailor suit and long blonde hair, piercing icy blue eyes, bulging muscles and skin that looks like its never seen sunlight. But the most noticeable is the large scar that runs down his left cheek. Everything about him screams power, but its dark and eerie I can tell he's dangerous.
When he ultimately reaches me he says in a husky accent "Please Min Skatt (My Treasure), don't be so hostile towards me. You know that you are mine and I will have you. Shift back and give yourself to me save your people from anymore pain and loss."
Hearing him talk like this made the anger in my veins build wanting nothing more than to sever his head from his body, I pulled my snout back barring my teeth at him. Before I had a chance to pounce on this unknown man I was blocked by someone else. His presence brought me peace and calmed my wolf. For some reason when I move to try and see his face it blocked from my view.
Before I can move around him to try and see his face he says " Leave my mate alone Bloodsucker. She does not belong to you she is mine and fated for me and no one else."
Hearing him say this shocked me, how could I have a mate? My mate rejected me. Pulling me from my thoughts he asked "Are you all right my love?" Hearing how his voice said my love sent shivers down my spine.
Nodding at him knowing he can see it. Pulling my eyes to the man in front I sneer again at him. Absent mindedly I shift back into my human form and step forward.
With a power I didn't know I had I say "I am not your and I will never belong to you. Stop this foolishness." So focused on the man in front of me I didn't notice the mystery man pulled a large t-shirt over my head. He grabbed my hand sending sparks shooting up my arm.
But before I have a second to react to the sparks I'm pulled from his grasp and into the arms of the dangerous stranger. He placed his ice cold hand on my lower back and his other hand behind my head.
"You belong to me and no one else." He says boring his icy blue eyes that grew colder into my violet ones.
Swiftly he throws me over his shoulder and runs off towards the woods. I hear the screams of my mate and the warriors fighting to get to me. I pound against his back but he acts as if nothing is happening pushing with all my strength I notice someone else approach but I cant see them in the dark woods but I know its a woman based on her small frame.
"I told you he was mine" She said in a shrill voice before she struck me causing black dots to dance in my vision.
I dropped to the ground on my knees. Looking around I see no dead bodies, no crying women and children, and I don't see the strange man that toke me.
What I see is children playing with their mothers and fathers, warriors training and I hear the laughter of the pack members.
Looking towards the men that surround me, they all share the same look of curiosity. Sensing the confusion and fear that grips my body Dominic steps forward kneeling down to me he asks "Are you okay Little Flower?"
Shaking my head as the vivid images of the dead men and women that were scattered around me bombard my vision. Gripping my head I begin to weep for I have seen the destruction that awaits this pack and our people. James without a second thought pulls me into his arms and starts to rub my back shushing me trying to calm me.
When I have finally gotten my violent sobs that racked my body under control, I look into his eyes and tell him what I have seen.
They all listen to my vision of the battle I've foreseen and the man that took me. James and Dominic go as pale as ghosts while the rest fight their wolves for control.
"He will not have Beatrix. I promise as your father I will die before he can even touch you." James says with conviction and rage.
"What do you mean He? Who is he?" I ask looking to the men around me for answers.
"His name is Victor Vasilios. He's the king of the vampires. I don't know why he wants you but I'll find out why and I will kill him." Dominic says in a deep voice dripping with unbridled rage.
"I don't understand fully what happened to me why was I shown that?" I question
"Your clairvoyant Beatrix. Its an extremely rare gift on the most powerful of witches are granted this power." James says
"So I can see the future and stuff?" "Yes, Beatrix and you have just had your fist vision. One that was extremely powerful. Normal witches that have their first vision usually aren't that vivid and they would usually be drained from this to the point that they would pass out." He says
"You must be tired little flower lets get you to bed. We don't know how this will effect you fully yet." Dominic says.
Agreeing with him I begin to stand but before I could James hauled me up into his arms and began to carry me inside. Feeling at peace and safe in his arms I rest my head on his shoulder as I drift off. The last thought I have as I slowly drift from the exhaustion of the fight I had with Dominic and the vision all I can think of is the mystery man.
Who is he? Why couldn't I see him?
Little did Beatrix know that the vision she had was only one possibility and that her mystery mate was closer than she knows.
