Travis’ got a plan

My lips parted in shock as Travis walked into the scene. To my surprise, Paige and Travis kept going. It was only Emily who rushed to adjust her dress, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. “Hey handsome,” Paige purred, her voice trembling with every thrust from Jesse. “You’re welcome to join us if you like,” she giggled shamelessly, her body bouncing with the rhythmic flow of Jesse’s fierce thrust. Jesse barely glanced at Travis, he let out a dark chuckle instead and continued, his thrusts becoming more intense. “What the f**k is wrong with you Jesse?! Can you just stop this s**t you're doing? Just stop!” Travis’s face twisted in disgust as he turned his face away. For a moment they continued then Paige pulled away. “Hey! Paige are you for real right now? I was just about to c*m!” Jesse shot out, frustration clear in his voice. “Oh, baby... You will, I promise. Not just in front of him,” Paige whispered as her gaze shifted to Travis, a smirk on her face. Then their lips met in a fierce kiss. “Have you guys seen Elena?” Travis blurted out, his tone sharp and urgent. My heart skipped a beat as I heard my name. “Why’s he looking for me? And how the hell did he know I was here?” I wondered. They all stared at Travie, their faces contorted in irritation then Emily blurted out, “Why the f**k would we know huh?” “I saw her come this way, that's why I'm asking. Just tell me where she went, I seriously need to find her,” Travis fired back. “Look Travis, we didn't see anyone here. Now can you leave? You distracted us from something more important than this gibberish you're speaking,” Paige muttered, her hands waving dismissively as Jesse pulled her against him, his grip possessive. My mind raced, “What does he want from me? If I moved, they'd know I was here watching them.” Then the rebellious side of me snapped in my head, “And so what? Go find out what he wants, you don't owe them any explanation.” Taking in a deep breath, I emerged from my hiding spot to see Travis was already walking away. I called out to him, “Travis!” my voice echoed in the air. Emily’s eyes widened in shock as she gasped, “Don't tell me this b***h has been here all along, watching us?” She sneered. Paige and Jesse exchanged glances, their faces dripping with mockery. Then Jesse stepped closer, a smirk appearing on his face, “Well, well, well…look who was hiding.” “Elena! Where were you hiding,” Travis stopped and turned back, confusion written on his face as he walked back. I brushed past Jesse, avoiding eye contact as my heart skipped. Then Paige blocked my path, “So you were here all along? Hope you enjoyed the show,” she giggled, her gaze piercing into me. Out of nowhere, she burst into a song, “Happy birthday to you… Happy birthday to you… Happy birthday Elena” Her voice oozed with sarcasm and Emily joined in the mockery, their laughter filling the air. “It's your birthday?” Travis asked with surprise in his eyes but I didn't respond. I just looked away, trying to escape their wicked stares as I fought hard not to cry. “Yes handsome, today's her birthday and all she did was hide here and watch me and my boyfriend f**k! I bet that was her birthday wish, to see us f**k and look, it was granted,” Paige snarled, her expression that of mounting rage. “Paige, I was here before you guys showed up. I just came here to read my book in peace so stop jumping to conclusions,” I shot back, trying hard to keep my voice steady. Travis let out a sigh and held my hand, pulling me away from them as he uttered, “Come on, just ignore her. Let’s go.” “I hope he f***s you half as good as Jesse does me, at least you'd get to experience something close!” Paige’s voice followed us, loud and haunting. I could hear Emily’s laughter trailing along, fading into the background. ——- Travis POV Tonight was the night of the full moon and my bones already ached from its pull. I needed to figure out how to convince Elena to join me but I wasn't quite sure on how to bring it up. She was avoiding me all morning, pretending not to see me until the break time came. I saw her walk toward the back of the library and became curious. Thane didn’t make it easy with his constant growling, urging me to follow her. But I was hungry, food had to come first. When I was done, I headed her way only to be hit by the unmistakable smell of s*x. For a split second, I panicked thinking it was Elena, then I saw them, Paige and Jesse. Finding out that today was her birthday made everything easier for me. I had a plan and this was a perfect opportunity. “Elena,” I muttered as we strolled towards the cafeteria, “Today’s your birthday and you’re acting like it’s a normal day?” She shrugged, her face reading indifferent, “How am I supposed to act? It’s just a regular day that makes me a year older, it’s nothing,” she said. “So you don’t celebrate?” I asked, my eyebrows raised in curiosity. Elena’s gaze drifted off and I caught a slight smile on her face as she replied, “Well, my parents do. They woke me up with a birthday cake that had my age on it, -Happy 18th birthday honey-” She said sarcastically. “I’m not just a fan of celebrations. Crowds, parties… they make me anxious,” she continued. A grin spread across my face, “Alright then, how about I treat you to something special? No crowds, no parties?” She stopped walking, her eyes looking skeptical, “You don't have to do that, I'm fine…” “Come on… I insist. Just one small surprise and then we come back to school,” I promised. She hesitated, her body language showing reluctance. Finally, she gave in, “Fine, but please nothing over the top.” “I cross my heart,” I said smiling as we headed for my car. —— The mall lights glowed as we entered the phone store and Elena’s eyes widened when I pointed to the latest Ephone. “Travis? You're getting me a new phone?” “Yeah,” I smiled. “After your phone fell into the pool the other day, I planned on getting you a new one, and since today’s your birthday, I thought, why not?” Her fingers danced over the sleek device and her face brightened up with a smile. But suddenly her face crumbled, twisting into something else… an expression that didn't fit the moment. My heart skipped, my chest tightening. Thane, my wolf growled within me, low and accusing, “What have you done?”
