Clark reached me first. He wore a thin cotton shirt that made his pale skin look sallow in the bright sunlight. His golden hair flopped over his hairline like an exaggerated cartoon character. He seemed extra-bony today and I grimaced, recalling how pleasurable his kiss had been. Obviously, I’d been out of my mind.
