"You may want to sit for this," Alpha Lucas led me to his study room. He didn't bother to go back in to get a shirt. He gave me the full view and now I couldn't get the image of his thing from my mind. He poured himself a glass of water-- two glasses and gulped it down.
It was only natural to be thirsty like a horse after all that… shenanigans.
"I don't even know where to start," he muttered, looking confused for a moment. He stared into the distance for a long time. "Remember the rogue that attacked us on our way to the hotel the other time?"
"How can I forget?" Besides that I nearly died, Lucas and Karson were ready to argue over who would watch over me. I had to send them out.
"Well… we found more of them wandering near the pack a while ago. They were waiting for something."
