Aunt didn't let me leave until I agreed to keep a promise I didn't even know about. We waited until the kids could shift again and once they did, they burst into tears, sorry for what they did.
They hugged my legs tight, throwing their heads back dramatically as they cried with their butt out.
Aunt giggled at their dramatic attitude, promising them I wasn't mad and that she too could keep a secret.
"I'm not mad, I promise," I picked Carl up and she carried Karin, wiping their tears. "It's okay, honey. Now we'll just have to be extra careful, okay?" They nodded, hugging us both with their little arms.
