"Did you check again?" I asked, sounding urgent into the phone as I paced my room, biting my nails.
"Yes, Alpha. There's little to no information about the twins," the investigator replied with a shaky voice.
Something didn't feel right, I could tell in my guts that something was wrong. Could it have been tampered with?
"And their mother?"
" The children are registered under a nanny called Nanny May."
"So they are foster kids? Where do they live? Get me the address!"
"I-I- Alpha, there's no information on that," he sounded worried, probably too bombarded with the questions to know which one to reply first. "Their identity as well as several others are withheld. The reason is unknown."
