It was a hard game; we didn´t expect the gladiators to hit the ice with such strength, but in the end, we managed to overcome the score. It was more out of sheer luck and talent that we managed to pull the game, and I knew that in the lockers, we would have an earful from our coach.
I was focused, and the entire team was too, but we were detached from one another, and that showed on the ice. Several times, Pat passed to Cap when Bobby had the better angle for a shot. Other times, Cap dragged the puck instead of passing it to Pete, and so on and so forth. Our defense was not better. They lost the puck several times in the red zone in that area where, if they had better skills, the score would be a different story.
