Asher “I’m sorry. I’m so fuckin’ sorry. I’m so sorry.” Zeke said as he rocked the old man’s corpse in his arms. My heart ached for him. I could sense the wolves coming and was relieved when I saw them break the tree line. Lee shifted and ran on foot the rest of the way to the shop. He crouched down in front of a catatonic Zeke who was still rocking the dead man’s body. “Zeke?” Lee said. The man looked up, devastation marring his handsome features.
