Asher I felt the absence of my mates more and more with every passing day. Hazel seemed to brush it off quickly, but I believe she had checked out not long after Addy had passed. We made it to my family’s herd. Our little cabin had come together nicely, and Grandmother had covered it in honeysuckle and gardenia, reminding me of Addy and Hazel. It was comforting.
