Zeke The plane ride wasn’t very long, or it didn’t feel that way, at least because I slept through most of it. I thought it best that I distanced myself from the others. They were digging too deeply into my past, but that’s where I wanted it to stay: in the past. I didn’t want to talk about my mother.
