Gio The sweet stench of urine assaulted my nose, and I took a step back. The man began to shake as fear radiated from him. “Do you fear me, wolf?” I asked quietly. “Yes…” he murmured. “Then why do you upset me so? Hmm? Why do you align yourself with those monsters?” I asked him. “She has Maggie and Ethan.” he said, quietly. “Who are they and who has them?” I asked him. “My mate and son. Cass has them. She ain’t lettin’ ‘em go. I tried sneakin’ ‘em out, but all that did was…” He trailed off. “What?” I pressed. “She had all the men… My Maggie… She screamed and screamed…” He began to sob. I ran a hand through my hair. These people are monsters. True monsters. “Come. I have clothes in the car.” I said as I turned and walked away. I heard the shuffle of feet behind me as I walked.
