Chapter 85 – Thanksgiving
Lexie’s P.O.V I closed my laptop after checking my email with relief that there wasn’t a pestering email from HPR. It wasn’t that I found it annoying but rather I didn’t like the feelings it made me feel. Every time her name popped in my inbox, I felt that it was the universe sending me a sign or opportunity but I kept turning it down. I pushed myself away from the table as I rolled towards the center of my room on my chair. It was finally Thanksgiving, one of my favorite holidays besides Christmas, of course. But this year it was more important and much more special.
