CHAPTER 28 & 29

Dave stayed outside Cassie's room when a call came into his phone and he picked up

"I hope you have been able to secure the job?" The person said at the other end

"Yes boss, I have started working already" Dave replied

"Good, make sure you give me any update there" the person said again and the call ended.

Cassie later woke up and went out of her room and she saw a strange man and wondered who he is

"Good morning ma'am, I am Dave your bodyguard" Dave said.

"When were you hired?" Cassie asked and he answered that is just today.

Then Cassie began going downstairs checking for Damon but she could not see him so she went back upstairs

She took her bath then she went back downstairs to prepare breakfast.

As she is doing all these Dave kept following her wherever she went to except for the bathroom and she feels uncomfortable about it but she said nothing.

After she is done with the breakfast she took it to the dinning and then she called Damon.

Damon was working when he saw her call and he picked up.

"Hello, boo bear" he said immediately he picked up the call

"Hi, my knight"

"Wow, I love that, well I am sorry you didn't see me when you wake up, I just have something to do at work"

"No problem, I understand but I am really missing you here"

"I miss you too dear, I will be home soon, just rest well at home and don't stress yourself at all"

"Okay, I have heard you, where you the one who hired a bodyguard for me?"

"Yes dear, I just don't want what happened to repeat itself anymore"

"Okay, love you"

"Love you too" Damon said and ended the call, then Cassie began eating her breakfast also.

After some hours, Damon got back home and met Cassie sleeping on the couch and he went to her and peck her and Dave went to him and greeted him then he took his briefcase to his room.

Damon also went upstairs to take his bath and he came back downstairs and he saw Cassie already awake, as Cassie saw him she ran to hug him.

"When did you come back?" She asked him and he replied.

"Not quite long, I thought you were sleeping so I don't want to wake you" Damon said and she hugged him again

"I miss you, she said pouting like a baby and broke the hug then Damon kissed her and wanted to break it when Cassie deepened the kiss not wanting to pull away.

After a while they broke the kiss and Cassie wanted to go into the kitchen when Damon stop her

"Where are you going?" He asked her

"I want to go and make dinner" she replied.

"Don't stress yourself, the doctor told you to take a rest"

"But I don't like sitting alone doing nothing"

"Don't worry I will order some food which we will eat tonight" he said and Cassie wanted to talk when he carry her in a bridal style and Cassie was caught off guard and laugh and then she wrapped her arm around his neck and was staring at his face.

Damon carried her to his room and drop her on the bed and lock the door and he ordered for some food online.

Dave on seeing that the door is locked he quickly placed a call to his boss.

"Hell boss, Damon is really happy here, it seems he really love his girlfriend so much the way he cares about her a lot"

"That is good, all you have to do now stop kidnap his girlfriend, I will tell you the plan later"

"Okay boss" he said and cut off the call.

After some minutes, the doorbell rang and Damon went to collect the food he ordered they both sat down on the dinning and began eating.

After they finish eating they both went to sleep.
