CHAPTER 3

Michelle watch as Cassie left and she shake "Oh what a crazy friend I have" she said.

As Cassie want to go and serve the first customer she heard her phone ring in her pocket, she put down the food with her and pick up her phone, she look at the screen and saw it was Olivia so she answered it and place it on her ear.

"Hello sleepyhead, I hope you have gotten to work?" She heard Olivia say and she answered.

"Yes"

"Hope your boss is not mad at you" Olivia asked again and she replied.

"She is really mad at me but thank God she accept my please and I was not sack"

"Better, because if you are sacred don't bother coming home, just sleep at work" Olivia said and she was surprised and laugh.

They talk for a minute more and ended the call and she began taking orders and serving customers.

At 2pm she finish her work and she went to her second work place.

Damon sighed and continue working after his secret left, he really hate ladies and no one knows the reason for his hatred.

After some minutes he stood up and went for the board meeting, as he entered everyone shifted fearfully on their seats, the aura surrounding him was cold.

He sat down and they stood up and now for him.

"This meeting was called just because of our investors backing out, what can be done to make them stay?" He asked coldly and one of the members named Mr. Alberto spoke up.

"The only thing that can be done is for you to get married, the investors said until you get married that is when they will come back, they see you as an incompetent"

"Who the hell are you to say such to me" Damon said angrily and Mr Alberto quickly bow his head in apology and Damon calm down a bit.

CHAPTER 4

(Continuation from the last chapter)

"If what they want is for me to get married, they will never get it, they can go to hell for all I care. This meeting is over" Damon said and walk out of the meeting hall and went back to his office fuming in anger.

"They are all bitches, all they want is your money" he said to himself.

As he is angry now, no worker dare go to his office if they don't want to be fired.

Cassie finish her work later in the night, she was so exhausted, the work was so hectic.

As she got home she laid on the couch and then she slept off.

After some minutes, Olivia came in and met her asleep. She felt pity for, she is really working so hard that she don't have time for herself anymore.

Olivia drop her bag and took her upstairs to her room.

After laying her down, she covers her with the duvet and went down to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

After an hour she finish preparing it she serve it on the dinning and went up to wake Cassie, she tap her but she didn't bulge so she left her to sleep a bit and wet back downstairs to eat.

After she finish she pack the dishes to the kitchen and went back to sleep in her room.

During the midnight Cassie woke up and went downstairs , she was really hungry, she went straight to the kitchen, as she entered she saw food covered on the cabinet and she took it and began eating in a rush.

She was done and put the plate in the since and drank water and then went back to sleep.

It was weekend and Damon woke up in the morning and went to the gym.

He wore a black armpit top which hug his body and blue pant then a white sneakers with a black stripe and he left for his gym which was also in his house.

He was there for two hours before he went back into the house.

When he got back he was all sweaty, he ordered the maid for his meal and he went up to his room to take his bath.

After few minutes he came back downstairs looking more handsome and the maid couldn't help but drool over him.

He felt uncomfortable with their dropping and he yelled at them.

"What are you doing, did you have a death with?" He said and they came back to their senses and scurried away and one of the maids brought his food.

He sat down to eat when a call came in his phone and he picked it up and a voice was heard.

CHAPTER 5

Damon pick up his call and he heard a voice saying

"Hey buddy, how are you doing?, you don't even ask if your best friend" the voice said and he replied

"If you don't have good thing to say, Richard, can I hang up now?"

Richard chuckled and said

"You are still the rude brat I got as a best friend, you never change. I am coming over to greet my best friend, bye buddy, see you in few hours" he said and Damon hang up and continue eating.

Richard is Damon's best friend. They have been friends since college and they are still together till now despite the differences.

Richard is a very nice, jovial and cool guy unlike the cold, grumpy and rude Damon.

Though they are the opposite of each other but Richard try to keep up with his attitude.

Richard is a really handsome guy but not as Damon.

Few hours later, Damon was in the living room when he heard a knock and he called one of the maid to open the door and she went to do so.

She open the door and she greet Richard and make way for him to come in and he walk in.

He sighed Damon sitting on the sofa, he ran to him and pulled him into a hug,

"I have miss you so much buddy" he said and sat beside Damon.

"How is California treating you?" Damon asked.

"California is good, it was fun over here" he said and Damon nodded.

"Why acting cold, it is been long we've seen each other, don't you miss me?" He said and Damon just sighed.

Cassie woke up the next day feeling stronger and she sat up and started getting ready for work.

She went into the bathroom to take her bath and after some minutes she came out and dressed up.

In no time she is ready for work, as she went downstairs she perceive a beautiful scent and she trace it to the kitchen where it is coming from and she met Olivia there, her back is turned.
