Lines that must never be crossed

      The subway where the trio, Zhangsun Shan, Mui Li and Xi Hing were had already been repaired, all the broken rails and bricks had been restored to normalcy.  Now, it looked exactly the same way Zhangsun Shan had seen it when he had first entered the labyrinth.

"So you have chosen death" Zhangsun Shan grins cruelly as he sees the duo who had crossed his line in unison, they really felt they had the edge.

"I will end this now!!!" Xi Hing shouts aloud as he dashes towards Zhangsun Shan, with the massive spanner he held, it emanated a purple aura, he thrusts it towards Zhangsun Shan but he bends his upper body, dodging the thrust.

Xi Hing smiles as he powers his spanner, a purple ball drops from it to the ground.

BOOOM!!!!

It exploded causing Zhangsun Shan to fly metres backwards, apparently, that was some sort of explosive device, Xi Hing grins as he strides towards him, Mui Li stared at Xi Hing, he was really impressed.

Zhangsun Shan quickly gets to his feet, his entire body was bleeding badly, he had blood smeared all over his face, not having a weapon was making this even harder.

"I am benevolent and my love emcompasseth all,..." Zhangsun Shan grins as he stands to his full height

"... therefore I shall take pity on you and give you another chance, stop this childish folly and I wouldn't have to destroy you, I will have mercy on your soul and you might get to live for another nano second before I get tired of your disgusting ugly face and blow it to smithereens."

"When I was still alive, I used to see you as a threat..." Xi Hing says walking over to him

"...but now, I realised I overestimated you, there was nothing spectacular or great about you, you are just a delusional child who lives in a world of impossible fantasies."

Zhangsun Shan looked over at him, he couldn't help but smile

"And you as always have always been a thousand steps behind..."

As he said that, Mui Li who was behind screams in pain, he collapses to the ground and standing directly before him was Zhangsun Shan, he too also appeared to be battered and injured like the Zhangsun Shan the emperor had put his focus on.

"I predicted that will happen..." Xi Hing grins

"...you are fond of using tricks and deceptive means to win every battle, well..." Xi Hing smiles

"... there's a limit to how much it works" Xi Hing dashes towards the Zhangsun Shan that was beside Mui Li.

The Zhangsun Shan's face suddenly opens up in shock and horror, that was really bewildering as Zhangsun Shan would never show fear on his face no matter what.

Xi Hing noticed it too but he felt it was just another of Zhangsun Shan's tricks to deceive him, this time, he wasn't going to fall for it, he would finally defeat the proud child, the one who felt he was so unique and special, the one who felt he superseded everyone, this shall truly be his end.

Xi Hing grabbed Zhangsun Shan with his both arms and raised him up.

"You have seen my special so I don't need to tell you what's presently happening, Goldio actually just lets me absorb spiritual energy but thanks to whosoever rebirthed me here, I can absorb life essence as well, since I have just been newly spawned..." Xi Hing begins with a cruel and demeaning smirk

"...I have had no one to practice my new ability on but well, there's you, you shall personally have a sweet taste of my special."

Zhangsun Shan didn't speak, his face was just twisted with pain and horror, his body kept turning pale and white, he kept getting thinner and thinner until he was so thin he could use a cheerio to hula hoop.

Xi Hing dropped him to the ground, he was impressed with himself, he had really done it, he had really defeated Zhangsun Shan, his greatest threat and enemy.

Xi Hing's face was full of joy and happiness

"I have finally done it, I can't believe I did it, I knew I could do it but I didn't believe I could do it, I just did it, I have done it, I don..."

"What are you blabbing about..." Zhangsun Shan grins at him.

Xi Hing towards the direction of the voice, he then realizes that the one who had just spoken to him was the Zhangsun Shan he first had his focus on before returning to the other one who was behind Mui Li.

Also, there was one new development, the Zhangsun Shan he saw now was no longer injured, he had completely recuperated as blood didn't appear to be flowing from his face anymore and in the sheathe on his waist was Mui Li's long sword.

"What happened?" Xi Hing asked his face full of visible surprised and shock.

"The inevitable, you played into my hands" Zhangsun Shan grins as he snaps his fingers, the supposed Mui Li which was on the ground disappears, and the Zhangsun Shan that Xi Hing thought he had destroyed had now reverted, it was Mui Li.

"How did this happen? I don't understand, I planned for all of this, why didn't he say something?" Xi Hing says stepping backwards, his face was full of surprise and amazement, just who was Zhangsun Shan.

"It was really easy to destroy you..." Zhangsun Shan begins with his most haughty grin

"I checked through your stats, you have the special to absorb the life essence of anything you touch meaning that even your comrades are no exception, Mui Li is stupid, everyone knows that, it's not an unusual fact but I needed you to destroy him, I don't like stress" Zhangsun Shan grins as he moves forward confidently putting up his most haughty grin

"Since you knew me, you probably predicted that I would pretend to face you head on, then come behind Mui Li using a stealth attack to incapacitate him, then land a counter attack from there, that was a good prediction for anyone with a negative IQ, Mui Li and you must have gotten each other a key word in case I tried to use an illusion based attack, that's why when I sent a useless dummy to Mui Li, I had improved the useless dummy attack to arc 2, now even he can use Krigo, he snuck behind Mui Li and used a Krigo based attack, one I came up with on the spot..." Zhangsun Shan smiles as he puts his two palms together

"... Martial arts style : No longer sound, it's a Krigo based attack that doesn't let the caster and victim produce sounds either with themselves or anything they interact with, that's exactly why you couldn't hear what was going on behind, that was what my useless dummy performed on Mui Li preventing him from being able to communicate, Mui Li had quickly found him out and was about to kill him but my useless dummy dodged and even disarmed him, quickly using another Krigo based attack, he threw the sword in the air, when he did that, he cast another illusion based attack causing Mui Li to look like me and my useless dummy to look like Mui Li, then my useless dummy pretended to faint, and you fell for that ploy perfectly, when you moved in to attack, I grabbed the long sword from the air, I was also curious to know one thing..." Zhangsun Shan says stroking his beardless chin.

"What?" Xi Hing asks, he was clearly annoyed he had been deceived once again by the 'one handed devil of the central plains.'

"Your HP is already full, I wondered what would happen to the life essence you absorbed, when you were absorbing Mui Li, since your body had no use for the extra HP, it dispersed it around the atmosphere, I simply just absorbed it and right now..." Zhangsun Shan says spreading out his two arms

"...I have fully recovered, I told you not to cross that line if you don't want to die."

"It still doesn't matter!!!" Xi Hing shouts aloud regaining his composure as he dashes towards Zhangsun Shan

"you might have used me to defeat Mui Li but there is no way you are getting out of this unscathed, I shall destroy and vanquish you, nothing shall stop me, this truly is your end."

"And they call me the delusional one" Zhangsun Shan ends in a sarcastic tone.

Xi Hing dashes at him, raising his spanner, he fires repeatedly at Zhangsun Shan, the one handed white haired Krigo user dodges the incoming attack causing explosions to take event directly behind

BOOM!   BOOM!!  BOOM!!!  BOOM!!!!.

Zhangsun Shan closes the distance between Xi Hing and him.

"Martial arts style : giant flambo" Zhangsun Shan shouts aloud, his sword becomes embedded in flames as she swings it towards Xi Hing, it scathed his armour but it didn't appear to have any damage.

Xi Hing smiling, brings his spanner overhead as if trying to hit Zhangsun Shan but the white haired warrior quickly looks up as he was about to be hit, muttering words underneath his breath as possible, he blows flames towards Xi Hing's direction, though he was unscathed but he was distracted.

Zhangsun Shan dashes around him repeatedly making a lot of strikes at him slicing the parts of his body with no armour.

"AHHHHRGGGGH" Xi Hing screams aloud as he puts his spanner before him as if it was some sort of bazooka, he fires at Zhangsun Shan but Zhangsun Shan gets to his feet, bending his upper body as he sees purple balls fly overhead him, his body was cloaked in a white aura, he had put it on by activating a Krigo based attack but this one was more developed, it was Martial arts style : beyond light speed arc 2.

In that mode, he moved at least three hundred thousand times the speed of light and yet even with that, he was finding it difficult to keep up with the emperor.

The emperor obviously annoyed dashes at Zhangsun Shan, they had nearly destroyed the entire segment of the labyrinth where they were, he swings his weapon at him causing further destruction but Zhangsun Shan jumps back in the air, muttering words as fast as he could, he swings his sword at Xi Hing's direction sending shockwaves towards him, Xi Hing runs towards the shockwaves approaching him, he absorbed them as Goldio too could let him absorb Krigo based attacks.

"You have been giving me quite a gift, how about I return it now" Xi Hing smiles cruelly as he slaps his hands vehemently against each other, he causes a deafening sound as he sends a massive amount of shockwaves which nearly destroyed the entire segment which was of a 40D plane.

Zhangsun Shan tanked the attack easily, he had trained his body when he was still in the palace to be completely resistant to the sun and could also survive intense attacks.

How he did it was still an amazement to some as it really was considered impossible but yet making the impossible possible was what Zhangsun Shan did best.

"How does he survive that?! How does he do anything?! why can't I defeat him?! just why?! must he always win?!, must he always triumph?!!!" Xi Hing shouts aloud his face twisting in pain and anger as he looks at Zhangsun Shan who was running towards him, he had a devilish smirk on his face, he didn't appear to be fatigued or tired by any means, he looked like he was just taking a casual jog

'How is he never tired even though he isn't a player, who is he truly, is he really a God' Xi Hing thinks his face a mask and expression of horror and fear.

"Well, it doesn't matter" Xi Hing tells himself, he was clearly frustrated but he regains his confidence as he stands to his full height, spreading his two arms wide open as if trying to hug a dear friend, he continues:

"I will defeat and destroy him, I am Xi Hing after all, I shall decimate any and every one who gets in my way" he shouts aloud but his head falls off from his body causing blood to ooze out speedily, it lands and rolls on the ground, his body kneels to the ground before falling flat after.

"In battle, there is really no time for hesitation, the moment you get aggravated or lose focus, that's the moment you lose" Zhangsun Shan grins, he was directly behind him, the one which Xi Hing had his focus on vanishes into puffs of smoke.

Zhangsun Shan had always been behind him, he had activated useless dummy arc 2 who had just kept been keeping him busy while Zhang Shan Shan had just waited for him to lose his guard before finally beheading him.

"As I said earlier on, if you want to live, there are some lines you shouldn't cross..." Zhangsun Shan grins to himself as he points to the line he drew on the ground

"...and that right there is the most crucial of those lines."
