CHAPTER 19

MARS AND LEVI POV.

The twins watched a movie Levi’s room eating popcorn mostly in silence or commenting on the movie Bloodshot after Mars went to his room for some much need sleep seeing as he was still feeling the effects of jet-lag.

Levi woke up his normal time he did every day and went to take his normal jog reaching the front door he did not really know where he could jog and asked one of the pack members he met yesterday. Hey Jedrek?  Levi called out. Do you maybe know where I can go for my morning run?

Wow why so formal you may call me Jed everyone do. Sure I do I myself were on my way to have a run.

Lead the way then Levi said with a smile.

Sure thing Young Alpha. Jedrek said as he walked out the door. He led Levi around the house to the training grounds were the worriers were busy finishing up there training.

What is this place Levi asked astound to see all the men and woman sparring in both wolf and human form? There were optical courses a few fighting rings a area for weight lifting and a racecourse that run the length from there till the border and then back around and the pack ground were as big as a small town.

This is the training grounds Jedrek said. Where we all train we each get four days training each group a different time during the day. I’m off   from training for the next three days but I like to keep fit so I run every morning if I’m not training that day.

Let’s warm up Levi said and do this then, and before we carry on you need to drop that   Young Alpha thing it’s just Levi or Lee for sort. He adds lifting an eyebrow at Jedrek.

Awesome stuff Levi it is then till we become friends that is. Jedrek said teasingly at Levi clasping him on the back. 

They did there warm up and then run a few times around the racecourse, when they were done Levi was out of breath. f**k I haven’t had to run so much in a while.

Jedrek stud there breathing not even hard as much as Levi did. You will get use to it in no time you are Alpha blooded after all soon you will run circles around everyone here. How about we head back and go get some food I swear id eat a whole cow and a sheep there after the way I’m hungry right now. He snickered at the last bit as he passed Levi a towel.

As they were making their way back to the pack house they started to get to know each other better turns out they had a lot uncommon.

Just before they reached the back door Jedrek asked him to meet up later at the diner for lunch then he and Mars could introduce him and Levi to his friends.

That would be cool but we have already made plans with Terrence and Mark to show us around after breakfast.

Well you got to eat so stop by at lunch and bring them with the more the merrier Jedrek said.

  Let me just run it by the rest and ill mind link you if that cool with you. Levi replied to him. And they entered the kitchen to find Mars sitting and talking with some of the pack members that was there. They greeted everyone and Levi made his way over to Mars.

Dude save me some food I ‘am just going to go wash up I’ll be back now.

I’ll try my best Mars said the food is out of this world I can’t guarantee that I’m not going to finish every last scrap. Mars said licking his lips to empathize his point across.

Dude I swear ill forget you my brother and wipe your ass all the way to Timbuktu and back if you leave me starving after the growling run I had today. And by the way where were you for our morning run? Levi asked lifting an eyebrow and pulling onside of his lip up at Mars.

I slept in I was beyond tired today I’ll make it up tomorrow again. Mars said stuffing his face again.

If you keep skipping your run you’ll end up looking like a telly tubby and you would not have to worry about finding your mate cause when you do she will reject your fat ass. Levi snickered at Mars.

Mars growled at Levis comment.  Wow sorry I don’t know where that came from but Midnight is pissed at you right now you know it’s a sore subject for him.

It’s cool bro I get that Zeus is the same way about this whole mate thing. Levi said grimacing. Let me go get done before you really finish all the food off.

And with that Levi made his way to his room to get cleaned up.

The guys at the table till a girl walked up to him. 

Hey I’m Destiny Duns she says reaching out her hand to Mars which of the twins are you Levi or Mars she asked sweetly.

He took her hand in his and gave it a quick shake and a chill run down his spine as she bat her eyelashes at him bending so low that her breasts is almost in his face. 

Midnight said dude don’t you even give her the time of day she smells of three different males and she still flirting with us. And you think she is my kind of woman hell dude the way she dress already had me thinking that I don’t want to know her there is nothing left for the imagination and I like a challenge there is no challenge what so ever here.

I’m Mars he says how can I help you/ he asked.

Oh is not a matter of how you can help me it the other way around. She said licking her lips purring he words. How about we hang out a little and who knows we may end up having some sweaty fun.

Mars shudders on the inside but did not want to come across as being rude he said in the kindest way possible.

Thanks for the offer but I already have plans for the day and my week looks busy you know with settling in and getting use to the life me and my brother have to lead right now, I hope you understand. He finish off with a slight smile not wanting to smile to bright and give her ideas that he may take her up on the offer in future.

She pouts at Mars. Maybe next time then she says. Making puppy dog eyes at Mars and turned swaying her hips as she walked away.

Levi made his way over to Mars and raised an eyebrow.  And that? He asks nodding his head in the direction of Destiny.

That is Destiny Duns. Mars said not wanting to say anything more about her he was not the kind of guy to put a female down he respected females.

Looking at Mars as he sat down he knew there was more to it than just the name of the girl but he did not push it. Jedrek came to sit at the same time and he was not shy to voice his opinion about Destiny.

That my dear friend is my ex mate she rejected me cause I’m not a future Alpha or a King and since then she is sleeping with anyone she can just to move up in the world.

Mars and Levi looked at him mouths agape. Before I ask the question I’m burning to ask Mars this is Jedrek, Jedrek this is my brother Mars. They nod at each other and Levi popped his question.

Sorry for asking but what if been told the pain of rejection can kill your wolf and you may even go in depression and to recover is almost impossible.

I ‘am not going to lie to you it’s was the most painful experience of my life I almost lost my wolf cause of it I was depressed for a long time, the first time she had s*x with someone else that’s when I made up my mind to except her rejection and the bond slowly broke after that. And slowly but surely I got better and since then I’ve been focused on my training and getting my life back. I don’t feel a thing for her anymore no more pain and no love I don’t even hate her. Right now all I’m hoping for is that one day I can find a second chance at happiness.

I’m sorry to hear that. Mars says.

How did you know she slept with someone else? Levi asked.

You can literally feel it feels like someone set your insides on fire and its slowly consuming you from the inside out, and after you are left with bruising on your stomach area that heals very slowly.

Fuck! Levi says rubbing his stomach. I can’t even imagine what that would feel like.

Oh well at least that’s over with and I don’t share a bond with here anymore if I left it longer I probably would have been wolf-less and just a shadow of my former self but thank the goddess it never got that far. But enough of that part of my life let’s talk about better things. Have you spoken to Mars about lunch yet?  

 Nope haven’t had the time yet. Levi says.

What about lunch? Mars raised a single eyebrow in question.

Jedrek here wanted to know if we will hook up with them for lunch after our tour of the pack he said to bring Mark and Terrence with.

I don’t see a problem with that if we don’t have to ditch Mark and Terrence and you know me I love me some food so I’m in. Mars says smiling.

Awesome stuff then I’ll see you at lunch I have a few things I need to do before then. Jedrek says as he gets up and take his plate over to get cleaned.

Mars and Levi finished their food and made their way to their room to get ready and then the linked Mark and Terrence that they ready to hit the pack tour…
